"But now I will be next to you and watch everything."
"Okay," I give up. "But not for long."
"We agreed, I will pick you up at nine o'clock," Danylo smiles and goes to Mr. Jonson's office.
I don't even want to think about how many rules of the girl code I've broken right now.
?Do not hang out with men who have a girlfriend (especially a wife).
? Do not go to parties with married man.
?Do not get drunk next to a man whose wife is waiting at home.
?Don't get drunk next to Danylo, who got married a week ago, and I took pictures with his wife at the wedding.
I belong to hell.
I leave the room and go to the reception.
Timur's smug smile spreads across his face. I'm smiling too, but I want to punch him for it.
"Don't you dare," I warn.
"I am silent," he puts his hands up.
"Yeah."
"And why doesn’t Superman rush to save our princess?" Asshole.
"You were eavesdropping."
"No! You two are talking so loud that even if I cover my ears, I can hear everything. You need to sleep and finally calm this tension between you two."
"Danylo has a wife, if you forgot."
"Zlata? Nothing will happen to her."
"And I see, you are not a big fan of the newly created family."
"I am not a big fan of Zlata. No, I'm probably her biggest hater," laughs Timur.
"And why?"
"Why? I don't trust this damn viper. When the child is born, I will again remind Danylo to take a DNA test."
"Uh, well, you're terrible."
"I'm just honest," Timur shrugs. "And Danylo is my best friend. I would do anything for him. Oh, just don't tell him I said that. "
I like working next to Timur. After Danylo, he is my only friend here.
I run my hand through my hair. Five hours left until the end of the shift. And in five hours I will be sitting next to Danylo at the party.
At what point did my life turn in the wrong direction?
"What would you choose, to be left without a hand or without the Internet?"
Timur is taking coffee with Danylo, and I am waiting for my tea.
