He turned to face the wall and stuck out his ass. The game was officially over.

I pumped a few more pumps of lube into my hand and slicked up my fingers. If my omega wanted me to play with his needy hole, I was going to play with it until he came. “We can’t have you empty.”

I circled his entrance briefly before breaching it and slowly began to fuck him with my fingers. First one, then two, and just as I added the third, he cried out my name, his orgasm slamming into him hard. Instinctively I wrapped my hand around his waist and helped him stay upright as he rode it out.

When he was steady, he stood up straight and turned around with a grin on his face. “I win.” He stuck out his tongue playfully.

“I’m not sure I believe that you won.” I sassed right back. “Now let’s get cleaned up before our guests arrive.”

“But second place has a prize.” He wrapped his hand around my length. “Now don’t hold back, alpha. We have guests coming soon.”

Even if I wanted to hold back, I couldn’t. Not with him working my cock the way he was. By some miracle we managed to get cleaned off and dressed with a whole two minutes to spare.

“Hello,” I opened the door to see Neil, Martin, and the kids there.

“Did you remember your job?” I asked Toby. He was the one who was to pick the movies for the night because last time they were all, and I quote, “too kissy face”.

“I brought five,” he said proudly. “And I also brought a pack full of candy.” He turned around to show his very full backpack.

We had each group signed up for a different food type. Candy, salty snacks, dips, and of course the cheese sticks. We were going to order pizza too, but a movie night needed junk food, including the kind Daire and I brought, the popcorn that comes in the aluminum pan. The kids were always fascinated by it and it was delicious. Double win.

I didn’t even get to close the door when Ryder and crew came in. One after another, everyone arrived until our place was packed full of people. No, not people. Family. This was our Sunshine Manor family and I couldn’t be more grateful to have each and every one of them in my life.

How things had changed since I met Daire. He was this sexy, insecure man who I almost feared would never trust me. And now? Now he was my mate and we were trying to have a baby. And Sunshine Manor—this place was my home,a home filled with people I loved, and a sexy mate in my bed. Everything I could ask for.

Excepta child.

I pushed that down. If Daire and I had a child, I’d be the happiest alpha there ever was. But if we never did? Same thing. I’d be the world’s happiest alpha because I had Daire in my life.

“You expecting someone, Archer?” Micah asked as a car pulled up.

I caught a glimpse of the car out the window. “It’s at the manor. Probably someone for Ryder or Ivor.”

Archer peered through the curtains. “I hope not. It’s a police car.”

“What?” I leaped up. “Now what?” Two cops got out and one checked a file in his hand. Oh shit. One pointed to this house, which was Archer and Micah’s, and the pair strode along the sidewalk and up the path.

“Did you forget to pay your parking tickets?” Archer asked his mate. “Or your speeding fines?”

The unicorn shifter was notorious for driving too fast and parking where and when he shouldn’t and then ignoring the payments.

“No. Everything’s up to date. I can pay on an app now.” Micah waved his phone under Archer’s nose as the bell rang.

Elune and Jasper were at day care so there were no excited shouts about policemen being at the door. Micah strode toward the door as Archer’s phone rang.

“Yes? Can I help you?” Micah’s voice wafted through the house.

“We’re looking for Archer…”

I didn’t hear the rest. Instead my gaze went to my wolf shifter friend.

Archer’s eyes flicked to the front entrance. “I’ll phone you back.” He ended the call. “You’re looking for me. How may I help you?”
