“You had ample opportunity to tell me. I didn’t have to ask you. It’s impolite to ask about money, and I didn’t care.”
“But you do now.”
“Of course I do now. You weren’t supposed to be so obscenely rich,” I say, stabbing my fingers into their chests. They grin at me like I’m funny.
“Ryder,” Holt says, and suddenly I’m lifted off the ground and shoved into the vehicle. I gasp in shock.
“You can’t kidnap me in front of my father’s house,” I cry, then fold my arms and look straight ahead of me.
“We’ll talk about this when we get home and after we’ve showered,” Holt says, chuckling at my stony expression.
Chapter Fourteen

Clementine

While Holt, Steele, and Ryder take showers, I gather up all Honeypot’s things, which basically lie everywhere around the house.
They love me?
How could they love me when I’m so stupid?
I don’t care that Holt, who took a shower in the main en suite, is still in a towel and Steele and Ryder, who used the guest bathrooms, are dressed in track bottoms and nothing else.
I pack my bags.
“What are you doing?” Ryder asks.
“Well, based on my principles, your lies, and my father’s blatant adoration for you, I want a divorce.”
“Understandable,” Steele says, nodding his head in agreement.
“We respect your wish,” Ryder chimes in seriously.
