“Okay,” Kevin agreed.
“The only thing we’ve done is fly them there and back. We get paid a premium because we’re on call twenty-four, seven. But that’s it. We have no idea what goes on there. In fact, it looks like a pricey get-away for rich guys,” Roy told them.
“Did you fly a woman up there in the past couple days?” Carvelli asked.
The two men looked at each other, shook their heads and both looked back and said no.
“We’ve flown women up there,” Kevin said. “But none recently.”
“I swear, all we do is fly people in and out. That’s it,” Roy said.
“Then why do you think it might be trouble?” Diggs asked.
Roy answered, “Because there’s privacy and then there is paranoid. These guys are beyond paranoid.”
“The entire compound is covered by a giant ghillie net. And I think it has some kind of stuff in it so satellites can’t see through it,” Kevin explained.
“The net gets opened then gets put back in place when we come in and after we leave,” Roy said.
“This is the place,” Carvelli said. “You got GPS coordinates of it?”
“Yeah. We even have them programmed into our flight computer controls,” Kevin answered.
“If you’re thinking about dropping in on them, forget it. They have armed guards. AR-15s and MP5s,” Roy said.
“How many?” Carvelli asked.
“Probably a dozen,” Kevin said.
“More than that,” Roy said. “We’ve seen patrols in ATVs patrolling the perimeter. They have an eight-foot, razor-wire topped fence around the entire place.”
“Yeah, that’s right,” Kevin said.
“Could you draw a map of the place? How big is it?” Casey asked.
“A couple thousand acres,” Kevin said.
“Yeah, we could draw a map,” Roy said. “Let’s go in our office.
“Okay, this looks good,” Roy said a half-hour later.
“Yeah, this is it. Right here,” Kevin said pointing at a straight line on their drawing. “That’s a county road. Not enough traffic for a state highway. You can see it gets to within about a quarter-mile of the fence right here.”
“You’ll be on the northeast end of the place. Maybe, five hundred yards from the buildings,” Roy said.
The two pilots had drawn two maps. One of the entire two thousand acre fenced in area. The other a very detailed map of all the buildings.
“And you don’t know where she might be kept?” Carvelli asked.
“We only spent the night there twice. We weren’t allowed to wander around. They put us up in bedrooms in the building. This one here,” Kevin said pointing at the map of the buildings.
Roy snapped his fingers and said, “The girls. The last time up we saw two really hot twin girls. They were coming out of this smaller building next to the big house,” he continued pointing.
“And they were guarded,” Kevin said. “Two guys with AR-15s.”
“What were they doing?” Casey asked.
“They looked like they were headed to the lake.”
