“You got some smoke on you? My usual guy is playing around, and we already bought our Swishers from the corner store,” Nareema pressed. While I might not live out here, this was where I sold most of my weed, so I wasn’t surprised at her request.

“Yeah. You want regular, or you want something else?”

“Let me see what you’ve got. I have some extra money to spend if you have what I need,” Nami purred, winking at me. There wasn’t a woman on the planet who intimidated me.

Based on my looks alone, I could have any woman I wanted, and I wasn’t being arrogant in any way. From a young boy until now, women had always gushed over my mocha brown skin and dimpled cheeks. It used to creep me out as a kid when they would say things like, “Boy, if only you were older,” because what the hell did that mean. Uncle Ro told me it came with the territory and that I would grow to embrace it. My bloodline only produced attractive, money-getting men, and the older I became, the more I learned to use it to my advantage.

We talked to the ladies a little while longer, after I served them. Nami ended up giving me her number while requesting that I call her later then we headed to grab some Rellos and Fantas. While we were driving back, I noticed a girl walking down the street by herself.

“Isn’t that your sister?” Dreis asked Drake. The weird expression on Drake’s face caused me to peer over in the girl’sdirection myself. We all went to the same school together, so I recognized her right away. Charae. Baby girl was stunning without even trying.

“Naw, she is my parents’ foster kid, but she ain’t real family,” Drake grumbled. Whenever we asked about the foster kids in his house, he often got uncomfortable. Over the years, I’d seen many come and go, and he always appeared indifferent as if they weren’t there. Whenever I went to their house, Charae would speak to me, but I noticed she always gave Drake this awkward glare. I assumed they didn’t get along, like most siblings. However, from the way lil’ mama glared at him the other night, I thought maybe it might have been more to it than that.

Charae walked right past him as if he was a perfect stranger. She couldn’t have been a sister of mine because there was no way I would allow her to walk by herself, especially when Drake had his own ride. I minded my business when it came to his household, but if I was being honest, there were a lot of things that didn’t make sense to me. Every time I went over there, his mother stared at me. I tried not to pay it any mind, but the older I got, the more obvious it was.

His father was weird as fuck, too, but I rarely saw him because of his work schedule. I couldn’t, for the life of me, understand why they were foster parents when they didn’t seem to have very much time for their own children, let alone someone else’s. Either way, I kept my opinions to myself. I didn’t exactly have the best home life for me to be judging anyone else.

We stepped out of the car, then headed toward Tootie’s house. I asked her if a couple of friends and I could come to her house while she was out of town. I guess you could consider her an aunt of some sort since she and my uncle had been messing around since before I was born. Since I didn’t live in the school district, Tootie let me use her address for registration. It worked out great for me because whenever I spent time at her house, italways came with a home-cooked meal. Normally, I would chill at my own crib, but since her house was smack dab in the hood, I would be able to work and chill at the same time. Plus, Tootie often worked night shifts, so I was able to have girls over. I had my own room and everything, so it was normal for me to sleep over.

“Hey, baby. I missed you,” Brielle cooed, walking up to us with her friends trailing behind her. Of course, Navy’s ass stood there with a silly expression on her face.

“What’s up?” I wasn’t in the mood to deal with her, but since I hadn’t gotten my nut earlier, maybe having her around wouldn’t have been such a bad idea.

“I called you earlier, but you never answered. I wanted to come over,” she whined, wrapping her arms around me.

“Oh, is that right?” I peeped Navy pretending to be focused on her phone. “Damn, I must have missed it. You could have still came because I wasn’t doing anything important. What do you have planned now? You tryna kick it?”

“Well, I’ve got my girls with me. Is it okay if they come too?” I wasn’t feeling the idea of them both being in my house at the same time, but I really wanted my dick sucked the right way. I turned to Dreis and Drake to see if they were cool with the girls coming over so they could entertain them while we did our thing.

“I planned on heading home, but I’m down to chill. We’re gonna have to order some food, though, because I’m hungry as hell. My mom texted me and told me she had made meatloaf. I already know that shit tastes like cardboard,” Drake complained.

“Yeah, we can get some pizza and wings.” I agreed.

We made our way inside Tootie’s house so we could get the party started. The pizza only took about thirty minutes, and that was more than enough time for Brielle to swallow me whole. After she swallowed my kids, I vowed never to fuck one of her friends again. They had no idea what they were doing anyway.

When we came out of the room, everyone was eating and talking amongst themselves. My ears perked up when I heard Charae’s name.

“She must be miserable without her ho ass partner in crime. Nadia and Tai said that they planned on jumping her the next time they caught her trying to talk to their boyfriends.” My face twisted up because Charae barely said two words to anyone in that school, so she certainly wasn’t flirting with anyone’s boyfriend. These hos were miserable and sad.

“I don’t know why they would even waste their time. When have you ever seen Charae in a fight? If anything, Ciera was the fighter out of the two of them, so I doubt she needs to do all of that. Plus, Braxton and Marco are telling people they’re single, so they might want to sit this one out,” Drake pointed out.

“Look at you trying to defend your sister,” Navy spat. Jealousy dripped from her tongue as if Charae had personally done something to her.

“Naw, she isn’t my sister. I just think jumping someone for no reason is lame, especially when it’s against someone who can’t defend themselves. What is the point of that? Besides, y’all are too comfortable fighting over niggas who won’t even claim y’all in public. It’s pathetic, if we’re being honest.”

“I agree. If I fight someone, I don’t need any backup. We’re built differently though, and I wouldn’t be caught dead fighting behind a bitch.” I shrugged while taking a seat on the couch. Brielle plopped down next to me, which kind of irritated me, but I let it slide. Leaning forward, I grabbed a few slices of pizza and some hot wings.

The fellas were playing the game on the big screen while the girls played on their phones. Brielle clung to me as if her life depended on it, and it made no sense to me. She asked for herfriends to come over here but wasn’t paying them any mind. Meanwhile, Navy typed quickly on her phone as if she was angry with someone. My phone vibrated in my pocket, but I ignored it. Today’s practice had me starving, and nothing was going to get in the way of me eating my food.

After I ate, I had to take a leak, so I tossed my plate in the trash, then headed to the bathroom down the hall. When I finished washing my hands, I moved to open the door to leave out of the bathroom. My eyes widened when I saw Navy standing at the door. I glanced down the hall to see if Brielle was anywhere in sight.

“Yo, what are you doing?” I questioned when she shoved me into the bathroom. My curiosity got the best of me, so I allowed her to take the lead.

“I want another chance. I can do it way better than Brielle. You barely looked satisfied when the two of you came out of the room.” I shook my head in disbelief. There was no way she was standing here begging to suck me off when her best friend was in the next room.

“Shorty, you’re wildin’ right now. I’m not even trying to go there with you.” It was the honest truth. I regretted the fact that I’d ever allowed her to come over in the first place, because she seemed like the clingy type.

“Please. All I’m asking for is a couple of minutes to prove myself. You won’t be disappointed.” The right thing for me to do would be to send her on her way, but of course, I chose to lead with the wrong head. Instead of turning her down, I whipped my meat out and gestured for her to get down on her knees. I made sure to lock the door before giving my attention back to Navy.
