I wait him out. Finally, he drags his teeth from my flesh and lets his head sag.

Beside us, Raider and Kit are fucking Ryann, making her groan. She lets out a whine, and Raider sinks his teeth into the flesh under her breast, right on the rib cage.

Raider rolls the three of them on their sides and they continue working her in tandem, sawing into her, drawing every bit of pleasure and then some.

I watch for a while and then get up and go downstairs, returning with bottles of water.

By the time I’ve returned, Wren has her in doggy, furiously pounding into her. The sound of their flesh slapping together fills the room.

I feel the minute the last bond connects. It’s like an electric current that runs through our pack.

Kit walks over to me and wraps his arms around my waist.

“I love you, Alpha.”

I dip my head down and kiss him.

Ryann gets off the bed, grabbing onto my arm to steady herself. Her cheeks are flushed. She looks a little dazed. I let go of Kit with a grin in his direction and pick up Ryann. She lets out a squeak, but I carry her into the bathroom and run the shower.

I want to renovate the shower. It can only fit the two of us in here, and it’s a squeeze. But, today, it’s perfect because now, under the warm water, our bodies touch and brush, and I can easily get my arms around her to soap her up, and by the time we’re done, she’s moaning in my arms, rocking against my hard cock, and I need her again. I lift her up and slam her against the wall of the shower, reaching between us so I can press into her.

This time is brutal. It’s feral and wild and explosive. I feel like we’re both just swept up in the heat of the moment, and when we come, I feel the glow of happiness inside my beta, the joy of completeness she feels. I can feel the love she has for me, for us.

I wrap her in a towel, and we go back to our clean bed while Wren, Raider, and Kit return from the other bathrooms.

We climb in together and curl around each other.

All the distance, the holding back, is a thing of the past. Deep in the bonds, I can feel the happiness of my pack and the love we all share that will last our lifetime and perhaps much longer.

Chapter forty-eight

Epilogue- Ryann

Raider stomps in andsits down heavily on the couch.

“What’s the matter with you?”

“Apparently, Kelly has been off the grid and not contactable, and the family is freaking out.” Raider makes a disgruntled face and reaches for a beer.

“Are you going to go look for him?”

“I can’t, can I? Not with this.” He gestures down to his heavily wrapped foot and the moon boot. He pauses. “I am concerned, though.”

Wren sits forward and unmutes the TV. “Okay, this is it. Fuck, I’m so nervous for them!”

The team looks amazing as they skate onto the ice, lining up. The ice is the most pristine white, and the lines are the bluest blue. They have got this.

“Are you guys sad?” I murmur, my heart breaking for them.

“I mean, yeah, it would have been nice to be there with the team, but I have my dream already, and it wasn’t hockey,” Wren says, intently watching the screen. He turns to look at me. “It was this, it was us.”

I think my heart just burst a little bit, I sniffle and let out a squeak when Kit hugs me hard.

Raider shrugs. “It was worth it to save you. I regret nothing.”

“You guys are the loves of my life,” I say, all choked up.

Kit lays down with his head on my lap and smiles at me. It’s a wicked, sultry invitation.
