Page 63 of Love Bitters

His reply is another kiss that’s deeper than the first, and a blush steals over my cheeks when Kendall calls out that she's ready, knowing she probably saw.

Ollie is the only one who goes back with me to check out the photos, and when I get my first view of them, I can't stop the tears from flowing down my face. Not only did she capture precious moments of me holding my belly and trying to listen with a stethoscope, but the ones with each one of the guys are amazing. Evan and Ollie kiss over my head while they've both got a hand on my belly. Wes stands behind me with both our hands framing a heart on the front of my belly. Murph down on his knees with both his hands and lips pressed against my belly while I cover his hands with mine. She'd had him and Thatch push their sleeves up to showcase their tattoos since they both had close up shots. Last but not least, at his request, Thatch down on his knees with his arms around my waist and ear against my belly much like the night he apologized in Wes's room. Deep down, I feel like that was his way of capturing his promise and making it timeless.

Every single photo is one I want framed and hung on every wall. My mind is already organizing them into a collage that I can hang over my bed. As if he can read my mind, Ollie tells Kendall that price is no issue. We want them all. She grins, letting us know she'll send them all digitally and then mail us a CD with the images as well.

By the time we make it back out to the main area, the other four seem to have stepped outside and multiplied. I try not to stare at the two big guys talking to Murph and Wes, no doubt discussing sports. The biggest one looks like he could break Ollie over his knee, and the long-haired one, though his head is tilted back mid laugh, could probably Hulk smash someone through a wall. Murph and Thatch are big. Just not that big. The other two strangers are a bit more off to the side, chatting with Thatch and Evan. One of them stands with his arms crossed and a stern expression even when he's smiling, but his companion couldn't be more his opposite. Right down to the tattoos covering both arms. I think he's got even more ink than Murph.

"Sorry," Kendall says, coming out of the back and checking in with Ryleigh. "I don't normally work Sundays since we call it family day and all. They're probably starving and want to go out to our favorite Mexican restaurant.”

Ryleigh says a polite goodbye and congratulations before walking out to punch the long-haired one in the bicep and jumping in the Jeep.

"Your husbands?" I confirm.

She nods, and her smile when she looks at them says everything. "That they are. Size can be misleading by the way. They're all more bark than bite. Well, except Mav, the shorter one. He's got a little bite to him."

We're laughing together as she shuts off the lights and lets Ollie lead us outside. There's no need for introductions, but she does them anyway. Her men seem nice, and I get their attention for as long as it takes to learn each other's names then they shift back to her. It reminds me so much of my own guys that I can't wait to hop in that car and get home with them.
