“Good morning, beautiful,” Goose whispers in my ear from behind me. I snuggle in closer to him, and his chuckle tickles the hair on the back of my neck.
This makes Lucas stir in front of us. One blue eye cracks open and crinkles around the edge as he sees us smiling back at him. Instead of pulling me away from Goose, he scoots closer to us. Pressing his lips against mine, I’m forced to fight back a moan. The last thing any of us need is his mom her head back in here and catching an eyeful. That thought quickly pulls me to a stop.
A smile still plays around his lips, “What’s wrong, baby? My breath too bad this morning?”
I shake my head, but Goose says otherwise behind me. Smacking his arm brings out another chuckle.
“Your Mom was checking in on us a few minutes ago,” I tell him.
“Then we’ve got a little while before she comes back,” he says playfully, smooshing his lips against mine again. Hands are all over my body, and it’s all I can do to remember why we shouldn’t.
“What about Mav and Teagan?” I ask.
Goose’s hot breath gives me chills bumps down my side, “What about them? You know you wouldn’t mind if they watched.”
My body betrays me as my nipples go hard just at the thought. Lucas of course notices and leans down to take one into his mouth through my shirt. I let out a small squeaking noise as he uses his teeth.
“Mmm,” Lucas mutters, “She definitely likes the sound of that.”
Goose lifts the hem of my sleep tank to give Lucas better access, and my head falls back against his shoulder. Just as Lucas leans back down a sound at the foot of the bed has us all turning to look. Mav sits propped against the wall, eyes trained on us.
Teagan has got his head propped up on his arms at the foot of the bed. The bodies on either side of me freeze. I feel a blush steal across my body. Being with just two of them or even fantasizing about the five of us is one thing. Having them all here, and their eyes fixed on me, makes me more nervous than I would have thought. My heart kicks into overdrive when Teagan leaves his spot on the floor to join us. He doesn’t wait for an invitation, nor does he make things weird. One second he’s not there and the next he is. I maneuver between Lucas and Goose until I’m flat on my back, staring up at him. All of them sleep without shirts, and I’d be the last one to ever complain about that. Especially for reasons such as this, finding myself surrounded, with so much tanned muscle on display.
Teagan’s hair falls into my face when he leans down to tease a kiss from my lips. That’s exactly what it is too. I don’t know what he’s up to, but I can tell he’s just teasing. I can’t even honestly say that I’m disappointed either. I’m not sure I’m ready for something that intense, let alone here in Lucas’ family’s house.
I nip at his bottom lip, making him aware that I know he’s not serious. Before I know what’s happening, he shifts on top of me. I take the brunt of his weight as there’s two loud thumps on either side of the bed. It only takes my brain half a second to catch up and realize he just shoved Lucas and Goose off. When he braces himself back on his arms again, I see their stunned faces staring back at us. I can’t even attempt to hide my giggle.
When Lucas stands up and reaches for me, I take his hand without hesitation. He yanks me out from underneath Teagan just in time. I’m barely free before Goose jumps on top of him, and they go rolling off in front of us with another thump. It sets off my laugh again that Lucas and even Mav join in on after an eye roll from the latter. There’s a knock at the door followed by Lucas’ mom timidly asking if we’re ok that temporarily silences us before we burst into laughter again.
After breakfast, the only one of the brothers not already there, Leo, strides into the kitchen teasing Lucas, “I think you’re gaining weight, little brother. I’m pretty sure you rattled my window this morning when Kendall kicked you out of bed.”
Thankfully, their parents aren’t in the room, because Teagan grins, “That’s because both hisandGoose’s ass hit the floor.”
Leo raises an eyebrow in approval at me, “Nice.”
Of course, my glory is short lived as Teagan takes the credit back, “Thanks, man. I owe it all to Kendall for distracting them.”
The look on Leo’s face is rivaled only by his reaction, considering he had just taken a huge gulp of his coffee. It spews out of his mouth in a steady stream that lands right on Logan, who’s standing in front of him. Huge guffaws come from the others sitting at the table with us. The only one not laughing is Logan. He punches Leo in the arm before cleaning the mess off himself.
With no couth at all, Lathan turns to me, “Three men in your bed first thing in the morning, huh? That’s pretty hardcore.”
My face doesn’t even have a chance to turn pink before Lucas smacks him in the back of the head. “And, on that,” Lucas announces, “we’re out.”
He and the other three move away from the table towards the porch, and I swiftly follow after them.
“Oh, come on,” Leo calls at our back. “We were just kidding.”
Lucas flips them off over his shoulder as we walk down the porch. He then throws an arm around my shoulders and leads us towards the barn. I’m curious as to why we’re headed out this way, but I don’t voice it. Turns out that I don’t need to. As soon as we step inside, I know where we’re headed.
My steps slow to a near crawl when I see four bikes lined up against the open back door of the barn. The arm around me tightens, and Lucas leans down to whisper in my ear, “Trust me?”
“With my life,” I answer honestly.
Teagan smacks my ass as he passes by us, “Perfect answer, sweets.”
All three of them sling a backpack over their shoulders before mounting their bikes. I wipe my sweaty palms on my jeans and pull the sleeves of my sweater down.
Lucas acts like my nerves don’t bother him. He places an open-faced helmet on my head then a kiss on my lips. Swinging a long leg over his bike, he reaches out a hand to me. My heart races what feels like ninety miles an hour when I take it to climb on behind him. The seat sits at an angle, so I slide forward into him a little as I get comfortable.
