“I’m sorry,” I whisper.

A deep chuckle vibrates his chest, “No reason to be sorry, sweets. Just relax and sleep with me a little longer.”

I hate to bring it up and possibly ruin his good mood, but my thoughts weigh on my chest, “No, I’m sorry about last night.”

He groans softly, and then I’m falling onto my back as he brings himself up on his elbows above me. My body knows him, so without much thought to it, my knees come up to fit his hips between them.

Kissing my nose gently, those chocolate eyes stare into mine as his soft blonde hair tickles my chest and cheek, “You don’t need to apologize to me, sweets. I put myself in your shoes last night on the way home, when we weren’t rocking the cab, that is.” The wink and smile from those words, makes my chest feel funny but it’s not noticeable, so he continues, “If I were you and saw what you saw, I would have reacted the same way.”

“No, you wouldn’t have,” I argue.

Teagan shakes his head and smiles at me again, “You’re right. I wouldn’t have. I would have beaten the shit out of the guy before going, as you say, caveman and tossing you over my shoulder. Besides, I liked seeing you jealous like that over me. With this thing that we have, sometimes it’s nice to feel singled out and important to you.”

“You are important to me, pumpkin,” I tell him, watching his face light up at the pet name. “I don’t think it helped any that I overheard those girls talking before they went on the hunt. They each went after a different one of you. Mav dumped his on the floor, and I had to literally peel the one off Lucas. They assumed I was there with Goose and left him alone.”

His face turns a little pink, and I have to use my finger to lift his chin to get him to look me in the eye, “What’s wrong?”

“I should have just pulled a Mav and not tried to help her,” he answers, beating himself up.

I shake my head as much as I can with it still laying on the pillow, “No. I love you the way you are. I love that you’d stop to help someone. Even if that would’ve been a dude, you still would have helped. I just took it to heart because slut bunny had already gotten under my skin.”

“Slut bunny?” He asks with a laugh.

That laugh does amazing things to me in all the right places with the way that we’re laying. “Yeah,” I answer, “She was like their troop leader or something. She’s the one who went after Mav.”

He laughs again, and I wrap my legs around his waist, which causes a small moan to slip from his lips, “Sweets, I’ll fight with you every day if I get you like this afterwards.”

“Are you still ok with all of this?” I ask curiously. They all act like they are most of the time, but then one of them will say something like that. It makes me second guess the groove that we’ve all fallen into.

“With our relationship, you mean?” he replies. I nod, and he takes what feels like an hour to answer. In actuality, it’s probably more like thirty seconds, “Honestly? I am. Yeah, there are times that I wish I could have you all to myself. Mainly when we’re not all together, like at night on the weekends. It kind of sucks knowing that my girlfriend lives under the same roof as me, and yet I still sleep alone some nights. Then I see you with Lucas, or Goose, or Mav, and I love that everyone is so fucking happy. Don’t get me wrong. I’m very happy with what we have. There’s just sometimes that I wish I could be selfish and keep you to myself.”

My hand reaches out to brush against the side of his face. The stubble there scrapes against my palm and I love the roughness of it. “You know, all you have to do is say the word,” I tell him. “I know it sucks that there’s only one of me for the four of you, but I try to even out my time with everyone. I don’t foresee anyone complaining if you want a night to keep me to yourself. All you have to do is say the word.”

He kisses my nose again, “I know you do, sweets. And I appreciate that. If that’s really all I have to do, then I want you all to myself this coming Saturday night. I have somewhere I want to take you, and we might get back really late.”

I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t intrigued, “Sounds great. I’m surprised you haven’t already claimed that day with the guys. After talking to Mav last weekend, I kind of thought the four of you were working things like that out between you.”

Chuckling again, he leans down to place a kiss on my neck, “I have.”

Another kiss, this time lower on my collar bone, “I was just…”

This time his lips fall to the top of my right breast, “…doing what I was told to do.”

When his mouth closes over my nipple, my back arches off the bed, and I grab a fistful of long blonde hair to hold him to me.

“Jesus Christ,” I murmur, and that deep laugh vibrates through my chest again.

“Nope,” he says as he switches his attention to the other side, “Just your pumpkin.”

Before I can stop it, a soft, “Mmm,” falls from my lips.

I lose track of how many times Teagan and I make up, but the others never bother us. Not once.

After everything that happened this weekend, once Monday rolls around, I feel my first real case of the college Mondays. I thought it was bad before, but it’s nothing to the exhaustion I’m feeling today.

“Rough weekend?” Jacie asks, reading my mind.

I laugh, “To say the least.”
