“He’s drunk enough he won’t care.” She waved her hand in the air as she started swaying to the music. “I don’t bite,” she teased.

“Oh, I wish you would.” Dylan groaned as he scrambled out of his chair and rounded the fire.

My stomach knotted up as I watched Dylan put his hands all over my girl. He was pawing her, and she was letting him. His hands slid up her back, and then went down to her ass. I swallowed as I stared at them. How long could I do this? How long could I pretend that it wasn’t bothering me? I got my answer when I watched his thumb slide across her ass cheek right at the edge of her suit.

“I can’t do this,” I muttered as I leaned in next to Serena’s ear. “I’m sorry. I don’t know who you’re hiding from tonight, but I can’t do this to either of us. I’m in love with her, and she’s hurting because of this.” I waved my finger between us. “I’m sorry.” I stood and stalked over to where Dylan was now trying to kiss my girl. His lips were on her neck, and his hips were flush with hers.

“Excuse me.” I tapped his shoulder like I was going to cut in.

“What, dude,” he growled, annoyed with me. “I’m trying to lay some groundwork for later.”

“Never gonna happen.” I laughed but it wasn’t funny. “Will wants you to get more firewood. Guess you’re busted.”

“What the fuck?” Dylan turned to where Will was sitting, and I grabbed Addison, and began dragging her toward my uncle’s house.

“What are you doing?” she squeaked as I turned and lifted her up over my shoulder. As I stormed in the direction of Uncle Nick’s pool, she began hitting my back with her fists. “Put me down, Cayden. I’m not your property.”

“I beg to differ,” I mused as I stomped up the steps, pushed open the gate, and headed for the water.

“What are you doing?” she shrieked as I began to lower us into the water.

“What I should have done earlier.” I flipped her forward, letting her slide down my body until her feet landed in front of me. “Seeing you with him, letting him touch you like that… I’m sorry. I should have never asked you to be ok with me and Serena. I’m telling your brother tomorrow when he’s sober. I’m not doing this anymore. I can’t. I love you.” She stiffened, and I lifted my hand to cup her cheek. “I’ve never felt like this before. I thought things were different with you, but then after tonight, I know they are. I love you, Addison, and I want to tell the world. I don’t want to hide this anymore.”

She stood there, blinking like she wasn’t sure what she was hearing, but then a giggle slipped out of her lips. “I love you too.” She rose up on her toes and pressed her lips to mine in a soft kiss. When she pulled back, she looked around. “Whose pool is this?”

“Mine.” I shrugged.

“No, really. Whose pool is this?” She glanced around, but you couldn’t see the party from here, and I hadn’t turned the lights to the deck on.

“It’s mine.” I laughed. “This is my uncle’s house. The pool is attached to it. Where did you think the music was coming from tonight?”

“This is the same house where the music is coming from? Can’t they see us?” She was beginning to panic.

“No, trust me. No one knows we’re here.” I began moving us toward the deep end. There’s a bench in the side there that I’ve always wanted to try out, but I’ve never been able to get a girl over here without Uncle Nick finding us. I guess it’s a good thing he’s out of town this weekend with Aunt Leah.

“What if someone’s home?” Addison was determined to be a buzz kill, but what she didn’t know was I’d covered all my bases.

“No one is home. Gone all weekend. Well,” I laughed, “my parents are home, but they don’t know I’m up here. As far as they know, I’m getting drunk on the beach. Now come here.” I pulled her in front me, and held her so she could wrap her legs around my waist. “You feel that?” I pushed at her hips, causing her to rub against my hard on. “I’ve been trying to hide that since you showed me this fucking sinful suit. Did you really think I could keep my hands off of you while you were wearing this?” I leaned in and bit down gently on her ear.

She shivered, “I hoped not.” Her hands lifted in the water as she moved them up my shoulders and into my hair. “Cayden?” She tugged at the strands.

“Yes, baby?” I licked along her jaw, making her shiver more.

“I need you so bad right now I ache,” she whimpered as I chuckled.

“I’m gonna fix you right up,” I mumbled as I tilted my head and plunged my tongue deep into her mouth.
