Now it was her turn to pause as she leaned back on her arms to give him a good look. “Excuse me? What do you meanfor now?” Her brows pressed together, but her body shook with light laughter. The rippling sensations vibrating around his dick were amazing.

“Anyway, back to me, or rather the other tea. So, yeah, my other sister, Selah, finally realized she’s in love with Dex. And I know, I know, about what I said about him before, but he’s actually great. It kind of feels like having a big brother around. Like sometimes, he’s a little nerdy but, I don’t know, he’s just really nice, and he’s perfect for my sister, so they’ve been together for a while now. My sister practically lives at his place. Okay? “They got together officially soon after he didWake Up, USA,so, yeah, that interview was kind of cringe, but apparently, that’s what my sister likes. Ha! Even better news, at least for Harper, but some rich old lady in Wisconsin saw the interview and said that her husband, who had died a few years earlier, had a pet crow he loved too. And she sent a bunch of money, so Dex’s wildlife thing can be built. They haven’t started yet, but Dex is totally geeking out over the ‘specs’ or whatever, so I think that’s going to happen soon.

“But today is very important. Dex had reached out to me because he said he wants to ask Selah to marry him and he wants my help. Me! And first I was like ‘Really? You’re going to do the hot-air balloon thing again? What exactly are you doing here, Dex?’ Because we all know how it worked out the first time around. And he said, this is different because this time they’ve already talked about marriage, so he’s not going in blind. Plus, he knows how much my sister loves the balloon and he wants one amazing memory to take the place of the not-so-great memory.

“Oh? Let me show you real quick. See? It’s the new envelope or balloon or whatever. We decided to retireThe Blue Wonderbecause we wanted to feel like we’re starting a new chapter for the business now that Selah is captain, and this is what my dad wanted. She decided to name the balloonThe Engage, which Naomi thinks is so romantic and perfect for some new business idea she has, but Selah told her that it’s actually some geeky thing fromStar Trek. So nerdy. Anyway, I think it’s hilarious because she doesn’t know she’s about to get engaged onThe Engage.

“So, yeah, Dex and my sister are up in the balloon right now, not very high, actually, because he told her he just wanted to get some selfies of them for their future Christmas card, in the balloon, with Smith Rock in the background. I honestly don’t know how anyone would fall for such a story, but maybe she’s like the rest of us and thinks there’s no way he’s going to try for another proposal in a hot-air balloon. And I’m waiting here with Harper for the signal. Dex told me he’s been working with her to come when he whistles and, look, here’s a fake ring she’s supposed to bring with her. I said, why aren’t you giving my sister a real ring? My sister and I don’t always get along, but we’re still sisters, and there’s no way I’m going to let her get engaged with a cheap, fake-ass ring. And then he said ‘You really think I’m going to trust Harper with something expensive?’ so I guess he’ll give Selah the real thing later and—

“That’s the whistle! Okay, Harper, here’s the ring. You’re up. Oh my God, she’s flying right up to him. I think I might actually cry, for real. Let me see if I can zoom in on this. I can’t see him.
