“Diggs man.” Bud laughs. “Seriously this is giving you a hard-on?”

“Will youalljust shut the hell up! I need to take a piss.” He jumps the back of the couch, struggling to cover himself as hard dick looks obvious in the small pair of shorts he’s wearing. “You lot need to get the hell outta here. We have an early start.”

“Oh my god!” Bud nearly chokes on his beer laughing. “You have! You’ve got a hard-on, fromthatDVD.”

Kat giggles, smiling at the job she did on him, and Zak can’t help but laugh as well. Then placing his empty bottle on the table, he stands up, grabbing his jacket from the back of the chair. “Diggs man, you’ve got some serious dick-issues goin’ on.” He shakes his head, still smiling. “Okay, c’mon on you lot, he’s right, we need to go.”

“Look, this was not me, it’s just,” Digby stammers, shaking his head while trying hard not to laugh at himself. “You know what… get the fuck out, all of you. Go on… go!”

Everyone sighs and collects their belongings, ready to leave. “Kat catch you in the mornin’. It’s gonna be a great couple of days. You’re in for a hell of a ride.” Zak smiles.

“Yeah finally, gettin’ back out there. I know I’m lookin’ forward to gettin’ on operations too, after all this downtime!” Ozzie smiles, high-fiving Bud then spinning around to fist bump Zak.

“Yeah, that’s gonna be one bonus of having you here—getting back out on ops. I sure as hell missed it.” Zak grins. “Diggs man, go easy withthat!” He points his fingers towards his hard groin. “I’d think carefully about how you use it.” He laughs.

“Zak, get the fuck out before I throw you out!” Digby gestures to the open door.

They get to the door before they realize QT is still in the corner with his head in his book. “Hey…” Zak whistles loudly. “Hey… QT, get the hell up man!”

He’s still engrossed in reading and hadn’t noticed the others are leaving. Quickly he drinks his bottle of beer in one go, as Ozzie grabs his arm. “Th- thanks… K-Kat,” he says. “I- I see… see you t-tomorrow. I-I g-glad you on-on … W-w–wolf.” He smiles as Zak frowns at him.

She smiles back and nods, acknowledging him. “We’ll see QT, but thanks.”

With everyone gone, the house is really quiet.

“Well, that’s the kids to bed.” Kat smiles. “So… guess I’ll hit the racks too.” She surveys the mess which Digby is cleaning up. “You want a hand?” She frowns, watching him. “Ryan, I’m sorry about that… I mean about teasing you. I shouldn’t have done that, not in front of them.”

“Hey, don’t worry about it, I’ve had worse, and it was just fun, right?” He takes the empty bottle from her hand and then spinning her around, throws her backward onto the couch. “But now see, I warned you …” He smiles, kissing against the mark on her neck. “What I’d do when they were gone.”

“Mmm, yeah … yeah you did.” She bites at the corner of her mouth, responding in pleasure to the feeling of his lips, right there, on that bite-mark he made. It’s so intense, the area so sensitive to his touch, and wrapping her arms around his neck, she smiles. “You said you were gonna ‘nail me’ to this couch.”

“And that’s exactly what I’m about to do.” He lies on top of her and she wraps her legs around his waist. Looking her in the eyes he can see her apprehensive look. “Are you okay?” he asks.

“Yeah…” She nods. “Just… just give me a minute.” She sighs as he leans in and kisses her.

Then he hesitates and stands up, backing away. “Hey, come on, get up.” He smiles, pulling her to the feet. Kissing her again, he rests his hands on her butt. “You need to go get some sleep, it’s gonna be a long day tomorrow so go rest up.”

“What… you don’t want this?”

“Hell yeah, I want. But… well, I think you need a little timeout.”

“I’m sorry, I thought I did. Look, I just have a lot going on in my head right now and I’m tired.”

“Hey, don’t be sorry, we’ve got plenty of time.”

“Ryan, I need to tell you something… about earlier. I lied; I didn’t go to the medical board like I said.”

“I know…” He smiles, “I just figured you’d tell me when you were ready. So, where did you go?”

“To the hospital.”

“What? Wait, you’re okay, right? It’s not something to do with Munroe, is it?”

“No! God no! No, I… I went for an interview—a vacancy there.”

“Wait, what? You’re gonna quit? Kat, you can’t just give up, not yet. I told you… you’ve got this…”
