Him practically running off the yacht proves to me that he agrees, and my cheeks get flush at the sight.

Callie also catches onto it. “Excuse me? Where’s the local STD clinic?” she whispers jokingly at me.

I laugh but inside I’m like, “No, seriously? Where is it?”

As usual, Captain Bryant takes charge after we’re all on land again, and he explains that some of us are going to be staying at a place called Althea Karpathos while others are booked in villas at a different place called Two Goats.

“Both are just as nice as the other, but neither had the space or availability to take all of us.”

Fortunately, Callie, Molly, and I are grouped together into the “Suite” in Althea. I’ve already told my new friend about my olderone, and she seems excited to meet her. I know they are going to hit it off.

Then, we’re told Captain Bryant and Jack will be staying in the “Traditional Suite” in our same location. I’m not exactly sure how the “suites” differ other than perhaps allowing for different amounts of people to stay in them.

But I really don’t listen for the other room assignments because I don’t necessarily care. However, with sharing rooms, I know it’s not like we’ll be able to be intimate on site anyway unless we get lucky and everyone else is preoccupied.

Next, my mind is completely distracted when I take in the beauty around me. The water is crystal clear and as blue as could be. And the houses, which seem to have been built along the nature terrain and makeup of the island are gorgeous and colorful.

“Ready to check in?” Callie asks after arriving at our hotel.

“For sure!”

We’re led up to it, and we both drop our bags once we see how decadent it is.

“All of this?” My mouth is going dry. “For us?”

“I call the one with the canopy!” Callie declares before going to jump on it.

That leaves me to tip the man who helped us in Euros, but that’s fine. After he leaves, I similarly test out the one Molly and I will be staying in.

Overall, the room is white, breezy, and whimsical.

“I can tell already I’m not going to want to leave,” I comment while still flailing around in the clean linens.

“Right?” she says, lifting her head up.

The next thing I want to try out is the wooden chair hanging from the ceiling. It faces outside and toward the sea.

“Oh, my god. It’s just beautiful.”

“My turn, my turn.” she hurries me off it. I instead take a seat on the couch nearby.

“This is insane.” I can hardly believe the two gorgeous rooms I’ve been fortunate enough to stay in during this trip.

Spinning around, Callie asks, “So, how quickly are you going to jump Jack’s bones if you learn he’s clean?”

I curl my toes at the mere thought of it. “Well, we have to be careful. We can’t just jump into bed together.”

She frowns. “And why not? From what you’ve told me about Molly, she seems like a cool girl, and I’m sure we can preoccupy ourselves with something in this gorgeous country while you’re fooling around with Jack.”

I take a decorative pillow and throw it at her. “Don’t say it like that.”

Then, she smiles deviously. “Sorry, would you prefer for me to say you’re going to fuck each other’s brains out?”

“Ew! No! That is so much worse.”

She sits back and smirks. “That’s what I’m saying. You have to pick your poison with these kinds of things.”

I just roll my eyes. “Whatever.”
