“Devils and Angels.”

“Nice. I’ll draw something up for a logo.”

Gray introduced Jim to Cade and the three of them got deep into conversation about our security systems and set-up.

Jim pointed to several points around the room. “Man, you’ve got to have cameras all over this place.”

Gray shook his head. “I thought as much, but no way the members are going to be comfortable with cameras pointed at them when they’re playing. It’s got to feel secure to them, not only to us.”

I left the guys deep into brainstorming mode and went to make a few calls from Cade’s construction office.

“Stay where I can see you,” Gray called.

I waved my hand and walked away so Gray didn’t see my eyes roll all the way out of my head. I wasn’t three-years old.

A check in with Ilario was first on my agenda. Having a name on the club made the opening seem much more real and a thousand percent closer. I didn’t know yet how to defend against Foster, but there had to be a way.

I called Ilario twice and got voicemail. Weird, because he usually picked up no matter what. I’d try him again later.

We still needed to find some more floor monitors, and someone to staff the boutique, aka the lingerie and toy store. I decided to call up our old friend Ian to see if he wanted to help with the grand opening. His style of dominating with a gentle charm would be a perfect way to make players feel comfortable.

Having Jim here to tend bar, and provide Gray some back-up and peace of mind, gave me several less things to check off on my to-do list.

Hawk and Lilly had the membership drive well in hand. Dominic and our new Mistress Addiction were working on the inclusivity culture and orientation classes. Cade had the construction trucking along and, deliveries for the interior were arriving in a few weeks.

I could hardly wait to see my favorite room in the place, the women’s bathroom come French boudoir. I had Louis XIVth yellow and gold leafed wallpaper, a chaise longue, a round tufted confidante sofa, and gold fixtures and accessories.

Except for the specter of Foster hanging over our heads, things were going better than planned and opening night would be here before we knew it. That would be the perfect time to enact my plan to collar Gray, and I would be getting a custom-made devil and an angel to put on it.
