A loud, insistent beeping sounded from the tech room.

“Oops. I think I jinxed us,” she mumbled into the pillow.

Swearing under my breath, I eased off the condom and tied it off, launching it at the wastepaper bin. I climbed off the bed, walking naked into the tech room, and hit the button to connect the call. “What?”

Creed’s low chuckle came through the speakers, and I raised my middle finger, even though I knew he couldn’t see me because the cameras were switched off.

“I’ve just been watching your moves from our hacked CCTV feed. Nice right hook, mate. The jealous act was a stroke of genius.”

“Thanks,” I said flatly.

“It wasn’t an act, though, was it?” There was laughter in his voice.

Arms slid around my waist, soft curves pressing against my back. Lips touched my shoulder blade.

“He was definitely jealous.”

“Kinslee. How was your first real assignment?”

I felt her lips curve upwards against my skin as she responded to Creed. “It didn’t have the best start. But I’d say the way it ended more than compensated for the beginning.”

Oh, yes. Way more than compensated.

“I knew you’d work well together. Both of you, take the next three days off. See me in my office at 9 a.m. on Monday for a debrief, and we’ll discuss your next steps, Kins. Until then, make the most of that suite. If you need anything, charge it to the Pope Industries tab.” There was a brief silence, and I thought he’d finished, but then he added, “I told housekeeping to bring you anextra supply of condoms when they clean the suite tomorrow, so there’s no need to be frugal.”

“Fuck off,” I growled, but he was already gone.

I immediately forgot all about my irritating-as-fuck boss, because Kinslee was lightly raking her nails down my torso, and my dick was already taking an interest.

Twisting around, I skimmed my lips over hers. “I hear we’re getting a new supply of condoms tomorrow. What do you say? Should we see how many we can get through tonight?”

Her answer was instant. Not even a second of hesitation.

“Yes,” she said.
