He rolls to the side, leaving his cock still buried inside of me as I settle against him. We rest like that for a moment, both of us catching our breaths and enjoying being together. The house is quiet, and I smile, feeling so at peace, so settled and happy.

This place is where I’m meant to be. I can feel it in every fiber of my being.

Logan’s phone rings, breaking the silence, and he sighs before he rolls over to check the screen to see who’s calling.

“It’s Harris. I have to take this,” he tells me apologetically.

“S’ok,” I mumble as I roll over onto my side and wrap my arm around his waist.

I start to kiss his shoulder and neck as he answers the call.

“Yeah?” Logans answers, sounding distracted.

I can feel him tense, can feel his body starting to react to my touch and kisses. My hands trail down his abs, and I wrap my fingers around his rapidly hardening cock.

I can kind of hear Harris’s voice, and I eavesdrop, wondering what’s going on as my hand slowly strokes Logan’s dick.

“They didn’t go for it,” Harris says, and I pause.

“Red Fog?” Logan asks, and I pull back.

Logan rolls over onto his back and scans my face.

“Yeah. They’re not going to back down.”

“So, it’s war then,” Logan says, resigned.

“Yeah. It’s war.”

Both men are silent for a beat, and I reach out, taking Logan’s hand in mine and squeezing.

“Thanks for letting me know. I’ll see you tomorrow,” he tells Harris.

“See you. Be safe.”

“You too.”

They end the call, and Logan studies me.

“You heard?”

“I heard,” I confirm.

“It’s going to be okay. I’ll keep you safe. If you want, we can move, go wherever you feel the most comfortable.”

“How long and bad do you think this war will be?” I ask him.

“I don’t know. We have more members, but most of their members are criminals. They’re willing to fight dirty.”

I nod, and he frowns.

“Just tell me what you want to do, mate, and we’ll do it.”

I mull over my options. I hate being scared, but this place… it’s our home. I want to fight to save it and the people that Logan considers his friends and family. I can’t just abandon them, and I know that he doesn’t want to either.

“I want to stay. To fight. I want to make this place our home.”

“Then that’s what we’ll do. If things change, if you change your mind, then just tell me. I will do anything to make you happy. To make you safe.”
