And me?

I start laughing because my Goddess, having an Omega is going to keep things interesting.

CHAPTER 37

APOLLO

It’s been a week since I’ve come back from the road trip. Thankfully, we have a string of home games after this. Some games are a short enough distance that there is nothing overnight happening; I don’t think I can bear being away from Clover this close to her heat.

The boys had sat down and talked to me about what was happening with Marcus.

We had watched all of his videos on the Omega social media site.

He talked about all the gifts that Pack Weaver had given him, which had made me feel like I wasn’t providing enough for Clover. He talked about his nest. Doing a tour of the space that was created for him with a designer. Something that made me worry about whether we had provided enough for Clover with her nest. The house wasn’t big enough for us and I hated that we were stuck here for a while longer. He showed off date nights with them and it made me wish we didn’t have such busy schedules so that we could take out our Omega more.

She was dating us all individually now. We made sure that she got to experience things like a movie date with Vaughn. He had told us how she had talked the whole time because she had never been to a theater before. He had taken her to get snacks and Clover had been so overwhelmed she had bought one of everything.

She had gone to a cooking class with McKinley. As part of his courting gift for her he had bought her a whole package of classes so she could learn how to cook foods around the world. He paired it with a shopping spree where she restocked our kitchen. She had been overjoyed by the gift, explaining how cooking calmed her down and how she always wanted to learn different cuisines. We all were benefiting greatly from this gift and loved seeing how our Omega beamed when we ate her food.

Griffin had taken her to a football game and the pair of them even ended up making out on the Jumbotron because neither of them really cared about the sport. He had taken her driving after the game. Our Omega had never been in the drivers seat before and loved the control of it. Griffin had seen how she was nervous about driving and had signed her up at an Omega driving school so she could get more of her independence. He had gifted it to her along with the key to his car, something that even Vaughn didn’t have a copy of.

It was finally my Saturday with her.

I had spent too much time thinking about what the perfect thing to do with her would be. I went back and forth deciding on it and finally talked to the guys, inviting them to join us for the morning stuff. I wanted them to be here for this too.

Clover was laughing as Griffin nuzzled her neck, kissing her as Vaughn tied her shoes. McKinley was pushing a tumbler of water in her direction as I watched them all, taking in the magic of my pack..

This was what I had always dreamed of for my pack life.

This was the happiness I had always been chasing.

“Yeah, told you she was the one.” McKinley kissed my cheek as he wrapped his arms around my shoulders.

He had said that. He was right about it too.

Vaughn was sliding the jacket he had bought her on, while Griffin pulled on the hat I had given her. The bracelets we had given her jingled on her wrists as she was kissed again by Griffin.

I couldn’t help but laugh when a vicious meow was heard. One flew through the air, aiming himself for Griffin.

We had adapted to life with the demon cat. Clover gasped, catching the orange fireball before he landed on the Alpha. The claws that the cat had out, ready to rip the skin from Griffin’s pretty face, retreated back into the soft paws.

“Mister One! We don’t attack our pack. Can you apologize like a good kitty for me?” She held him like a baby as he slid his tail over his belly, batting at it with his paws, “An apology please, sir.”

Meow.

“That’s my good baby.” She kisses the cat without getting an injury because Clover was an actual angel and the cat was smart enough to know if he hurt our Omega he would no longer be getting the wet food he liked.

We’d never get rid of him. Clover loved the cat more than anything.

She set the cat down, looking at me with that soft smile of hers. She’s excited about the surprise today and wants to know what's happening. She’s such a good Omega, not complaining about not knowing about what the plan is for our date.

Walking over to her, I slide my arm around her waist, tugging her into my body.

Oh gosh.

I don’t think I would ever get over her Shirley Temple scent. It’s so sweet and makes me want to bury my face in her neck. Drink her in or lick at her until my sweet tooth is sated. Maybe we could go back to bed instead.

“None of that. We have plans.” McKinley is bouncing beside me.
