I like watching them warmup. The way they skate around, shooting at the net as they laugh together. It looks like they are having fun and I love that for them.
When they get low to the ice, legs spread as they do their hip mobility exercises AKA the melt the ice humping, I bite my lip thinking about how I get to have all of them. I had been the ice under Vaughn before. I know how good it is when he stretches his hips.
Before we came here, Vaughn had rubbed me through my leggings until I was coming. I had been whimpering out his name and begging him for more. He had promised that we could play later, but Griffin had said he was going to get a hat trick tonight and that we would shower together.
Showering with Griffin was my favorite.
Not just because he loved to clean me using his tongue. The man knew how to use his fingers to work out all the tension from my head. His long fingers massaging my scalp as he shampooed my hair clean. If hockey didn’t pan out for him he could have a career in a salon.
Mick flew across the ice, catching my attention as he pulled the two Alpha’s away from the warmups. They didn’t go down the tunnel that I was sitting next to and that confused me more.
I didn’t understand everything about the game, so it was possible that they could have something else that they had to do before it started for real.
They had asked me to stay seated near them. If I needed to use the restroom I was supposed to let someone on the bench know. They didn’t want me to be alone just in case. Mickey had made sure that I had all the snacks I could possibly want and had made sure I had a blanket so I didn’t get too cold.
A bang against the glass made me jump.
Griffin was pulling at the plexiglass, a snarl of absolute fury written across his face. My heart thundered, shocked by the anger that was there.
What had happened?
“Oh my Godddd, he’s feral!” A voice behind me cried out. It sounded so fake, a tone so high that I wanted to press my hands to my ears so I didn’t have to hear it anymore.
The glass was giving way and I scooted over as he pulled it out, tossing it behind him without even seeming to care where it landed or if someone was there.
Thankfully no one was there to get knocked out.
“Hey Clover, come here for me, baby.” He moves to lift me, much more gentle than he had been a second ago. Griffin sets me down behind him. Stroking my cheek with the glove that he is wearing, “Why don’t you close your eyes for a second so that you can’t testify against me?” I blink confused by what he is saying..
It’s just a s second of not understanding what he is saying. I watch him lunge in the crowd, reaching for a man who had been seated behind me. He is sitting next to a pregnant Beta who looked horrified by what was happening.
The man sort of looks like Vaughn.
That’s when I realized who had been sitting behind me and why Griffin was losing his mind. Before I could grab him and tug him back before he ended up in jail, Mickey is suddenly there, wrapping his arms around my Alpha, and pulling him away.
“Calm down. They’re not worth it. I’ve already spoken to security. They’re going to leave.” Griffin snarled and reached out to attack again.
I needed to step in.
Getting in the middle of an angry Alpha didn’t sound like the best idea. Leaving Griffin this upset wasn’t something I could do. I had to calm down my Alpha. Every part of me wanted him to be at ease.
Stepping up, I rubbed my neck against his chest. Scent marking him and making a soft sound that was almost like the purr that they would do for me.
Purring wasn’t the right word for what I was doing. It was more of a little growling soothing sound. Whatever it was called worked to ease some of the tension that Griffin was carrying. His arm wrapping around me to keep me against him.
“You have an Omega?” The sound she made was a shrill, shocked sound. It hurt my ears and I had to rub them harder against Griffin.
“Yes.”
McKinley didn’t say anything else, only wrapped his arm around us both, and started to pull us into the tunnel. I couldn’t hear what else the girl was yelling about and I didn’t really care about any of it. Griffin still wasn’t fully settled and I didn’t like that.
It made me feel unsettled.
“We should take our clothes off and go in the shower.” I suggested helpfully.
“Absolutely not.” A voice made me look up, only to see their coach scowling at me, “I have given you so much room and still you find ways to take more. It’s insane how good you’ve all gotten at getting under my skin. If you weren’t talented I’d have benched you for the season.”
Griffin had taken off his glove, rubbing the back of my head with his hand as he stroked behind my ear with his thumb.
