I’m jealous of the red lipstick that smears between them.

“Fuck.” Anthony’s curse makes me glare, watching him palm hiscock, readjusting it as he watches them kiss. Watch our friend lose himself in the younger woman.

There is no doubt in my mind that we’re fucked.

Jace pulls away, wiping her bottom lip, as if that is going to contain the lipstick he just practically kissed off her lips.

“You look stunning, darlin’.” His lips kiss her hand, and he peels off his shirt. His eyes are not leaving our girl. “And you taste even better.” The way her cheeks light up all pink makes my heartbeat increase.

Fuck, she’s so sweet.

Her scent fills the air again and I have to leave the room or I’m going to go into rut.

Sadie follows us to the SUV, not grabbing a jacket despite it being February in New England. I want to say something and I can see Jace also not loving the fact but we can always drop her off out front while we park and keep her warm.

I know she’s doing it so she looks pretty for us and not just because she is a brat.

Plus, she is between Cameron and Anthony in the backseat and I can see her all snuggled up and warm with those two cocky bastards. The pair of them are so comfortable, resting their hands on her thighs and stealing kisses from her sweet lips as we drive towards the steakhouse I have a reservation for.

She’s gorgeous when she smiles. I have no problem letting those two idiots keep her entertained so long as she keeps smiling like that. Sadie always appears like she has something going on and it’s good to see her loosen up.

“We’re here, princess.” Her eyes are looking at me in the rearview mirror, “You’re going to get out here with Jace to get our table. I’m going to go park.”

“We all can-”

“You two can walk with me from the garage.” I send a warning look to the two men in the back.

Sadie unbuckles, taking her tube of red lipstick from her bag. She leans forward, using the rearview mirror to apply a fresh coat to her lips before turning to me, pressing a staining kiss on my cheek with a smirk.

“Thanks, daddy.”

Brat.

She is out of the car before I can correct her, letting Jace lead her inside while I head off to the garage around the corner.

“Dad-”

“Don’t finish that thought,” I warn as Anthony smirks, “You two didn’t answer your phones when I called. Want to explain what you were doing?” I ask, seeing the way they exchange a smirk with each other.

They’re debating on telling me. I can see the way they have quiet exchanges and it just heightens my annoyance as they refuse to open up more about our Sadie girl.

“We just touched her.” Cameron finally admits, he looks at Anthony who doesn’t do more than shrug his shoulders like it’s up to him to talk.

What a crazy change of events if Cameron is the one talking.

As we start walking towards the restaurant, Anthony and Cameron both light up cigarettes. Cameron feels more comfortable in situations when he can keep his hands busy and Anthony is just a menace to society.

“She’s different. You know that right?” He checks in with me like I’m unaware of how skittish our girl is, “I think we just need to follow her with what she wants and keep letting her open up to us. If we want this to last it has to be like a real relationship where we get to know her. Yeah, she’s our scent match and our mate but she deserves to be courted and for us to know her.”

Fuck.

Cameron is the one giving us dating advice. The world is probably going to end if this is the state of things.

But he does have a point.

We all are attracted to her and find her funny but if we want more we need to really learn who this girl we’re all obsessed with is.

And that terrifies me because I know I’m not the most patient of them. It’s hard for me to take my time and not just get into things when I am comfortable. I’m unsure how to open up to Sadie and get to know her.
