Nikki stifled a moan into my shoulder.

"Sorry," I panted. "I didn't ask, I just..."

"You're in heat," Asano said brightly. "You should see your nest before we fall into bed for hours."

I perked up. "Nest? What nest?"

"Rayth outdid himself." Asano smirked. "I told you, I vetted him carefully."

"Shame you couldn't break him of the bossiness," I said.

Rayth raised an eyebrow. "Do you want to see your presents first, or should we make you come a few times?"

I shivered again. I definitely wanted the promise in his smile, in Nikki's scent behind me.

But...presents.

I sat up, my limbs stiff. Asano handed me a muffin. "Come on, Lala, come see. Rayth is too modest."

I shuffled out of bed and pulled a thick, soft robe on. Nikki stayed put, and I pouted at him. "You're coming with."

"Didn't want to intrude," he said faintly.

"No," I said, a surge of protectiveness washing over me. "You're mine, all of you are mine." I looked around. "Did Kivai disappear again?"

"Yes," Rayth said, lighting a lamp. The room was bathed in a soft glow. "He said he would be back though."

I huffed. There had to be a way to make him more present in our world.

Asano gestured around us. "This is one of the bedrooms, but you don't have to pick it as the master if you would rather be somewhere else."

"Anything can be changed if you don't like it," Rayth added. "There's still construction to be done, but..."

"But you went into heat." Nikki smirked.

"How do you know?"

"Your scent." All three of them said at once.

"Okay then."

We stepped out of the bedroom, into a smaller room. We were in an underground cave, on the side of a cliff. Out of the bedroom was a small antechamber that had a long set of windows opened out into the ocean. The light reflected off the water, turning everything crystal blue.

I gasped. I wouldn't want to sleep there, but being in the room was soothing. The walls were tiled white with blue waves hand painted on each one. The furniture was thick and comfy looking.

Asano lead us around, showing off a large kitchen with every kitchen gadget I could think of, and some I didn't know existed. There was a large library that Nikki promised to help me fill. A few of the rooms were unfinished, just carved into the side of the cliff, but I thought there was plenty of room for bedrooms and anything else we could want.

Down a level there was a steam room, and one more level opened into a dark cave with steam baths. The water was warm and inviting.

"We can change whatever isn't to your liking," Rayth said. "We started construction and haven't finished, but I thought you needed it now more than needed it done."

I threw my arms around Rayth. "It's perfect." I kissed him on the mouth, pulling him tight against me. I pulled back to look at him. "You're perfect."

I looked over and held out my hand for Asano. "Come here." I looked at Nikki. "Both of you."

"She gets bossy when she goes into heat," Nikki muttered, coming over.

I gave Nikki a look. I wanted them. I wanted all of them, and I didn't care I wasn't supposed to have them.
