There’s just him and me.
There’s only rising and falling.
There’s nothing but this sense of fulfillment.
“I love you,” I whisper. “I love you, I love you.” My voice pitches as the orgasm builds within me.
I’m riding him faster now, my body pumping in time with his thumb on my clit until I feel like my heart’s about to explode.
“Zander!” I cry out just before it takes me, flooding through my body in a wave so strong and pure I’m not sure I can handle it.
“Oh fuck.” Zander snatches my hips, his strong fingers digging into me as he pumps me a little harder. “Fuck, Sparks. Fuck, I love you.” He’s basically groaning his words at this point, and I’m reveling in the delicious sounds coming out of him… coming out of us.
We’re a wet, hot mess—a slip-and-slide of ecstasy. A joy ride of epic proportions.
“I’m coming,” he groans. “Oh fuck, I’m coming.”
Digging my fingers into his shoulders, I bite my lip, smiling at his reckless urgency when he thrusts his hips up and pulls me down on top of him. And again. And again. And…
“Ahhhh.” He moans into my neck, licking and kissing my skin while he jerks inside me.
I pull him close, struggling to breathe, my hands shaking as I squeeze my thighs against his perfect ass cheeks and hold on tight.
Zander’s heart is thundering against my chest, and he’s gulping air as if he’s just been underwater, holding his breath for too long.
“That was…,” I barely manage.
He nods. “Yeah. Yeah, it was…”
“I know, right?” A delirious laugh pops out of me. I kiss the side of his face, loving the way his arms tighten, holding me as close as possible while we recover from that heady rush.
“Move back in with me?” His voice is so quiet, it takes me a second to catch what he just said. But as soon as it registers, I lean back to make sure he’s serious.
His face is so beautiful, his eyes deep with sincerity.
“I need you with me. I want to come home to you and Zoey. I want to wake up beside you. Please, Sparks. Move in with me.”
My heart burns for this, the very idea making me giddy, but…
“What about Carson? And the rest of the guys?”
Brushing my hair over my shoulder, he gazes up at me with a reassuring smile. “We’ll make it work. We’ll find a way, a compromise so we can be together.”
“Carson has a point about Football Frat not being the best environment for a toddler.”
“The guys love her.”
“Yeah, but for how long? The novelty will wear off soon enough, and?—”
“I feel like you’re making excuses to?—”
“No.” I laugh at the way we keep interrupting each other as I grab his face and quickly assure him, “Iwantto move in with you. Of course I want us to be a family together. I love living at Football Frat. I’m just trying to be considerate of everybody else. I don’t want to get in the way of college life, you know?”
His expression softens, his eyes glowing with affection. “We’ll figure something out, Sen. There’s bound tobe a solution, we just have to find it. But for now… for tonight… be with me.”
His tone has a gentle vulnerability to it that touches my heart, and I’m saying yes before I can think better of it.
“Really?”
