“Why’d you want to meet up here?” Carter asked, glancing around the warehouse.

I grabbed his hand and pulled him inside, so the chilly air wouldn’t come in. After tugging him a few feet inside, he spotted Akio and my father in the center of the room, then froze.

“What’s going on?”

I continued to tug him forward. “You’re here to fuck my dad.”

“Nicole, what the fuck?” Carter said, yanking himself out of my grasp. “I don’t?—”

“Stop playing,” I said, done with all the bullshit that had come along with having to flirt with him nonstop, all because my father had forced me to. I knew what Carter really enjoyed, no matter how much he boasted about pussy on the football field. “You prefer men, and there’s nothing wrong with that, so here’s your chance.”

Once we made it a few feet to my father, who was screaming through his gag to let him out of here, Carter stared down at me in horror—the first time I had ever seen that emotion on his face.

Then, he shook his head. “Nicole, I …”

“It’s okay,” I said to Carter, releasing his hand and walking over to Akio. “We aren’t going to tell anyone about this.” My gaze shifted to my father, and fury rushed through me. “I just want to see him hurt the way that he hurt me.”

“Nicole, I’m not going to?—”

Before Carter could finish his sentence, Akio pulled the gun out of his waistband and pointed it at his head. “Do what she says, or we’ll kill you too,” Akio growled, the possessiveness dripping off his voice.

I had never seen him so jealous, but Akio knew that I had slept with Carter before. Carter had never forced me to do shit with him, which was surprising, but I still had been in his bed. And Akio seemed to hate that fact.

Warmth gathered between my thighs, and I pressed them together gently.

Every day, Akio surprises me.

When I had first met him, I thought he was just some nerdy, scrawny geek who had a fat crush on me. But it turned out that it was all a facade, all a perfectly woven lie. Akio had grown up around guns and drugs and violence.

And as much as he didn’t want that life, he knew how to protect himself and me. Something the girls liked to call a bad boy. I guessed there were many bad boys of Redwood Academy that I knew. But it was safe to say that none of them could live up to Akio.

Carter stared at him for a few moments, then burst out into laughter.

Instead of giving Carter a second warning, Akio shot a bullet at his shin. It grazed the edge, but it did take off some of his pant leg and a chunk of his flesh.

Carter hissed out in pain and clutched his shin. “What the fuck?!”

“Do as Nicole says,” Akio snarled. “If you make her tell you again?—”

“Fine!” Carter said, wincing in pain and standing straight. “Fucking shit, dude, that hurt.”

I crossed my arms. “It wouldn’t have happened if you had just listened to me.”

“Here I thought that you two were just working on a science project together,” Carter mumbled to himself while undoing his belt and jeans zipper. He dropped his pants to his ankles, standing in his underwear. “Not taking over Redwood.”

My father continued to yell, scream, and shriek, trying to escape his restraints. But Kai had tied them so tightly that he wasn’t going anywhere. And I couldn’t fucking wait to watch this masterpiece. I hoped Hannah was watching too.

She deserved this as much as I did. Even more actually.

“Older men with power loved being rough with me,” I said, gently swiping my hand around my father’s cheek and cupping his chin, loving the terror in his eyes. “So, don’t be afraid to do the same with him. Okay, Carter? He deserves it.”

“You’re just … you’re just going to stand here and watch?” Carter said.

“Yes.”

“Crazy bitch,” he murmured, but that didn’t stop him from lining himself up at my father’s rear entrance.

As soon as Carter pushed himself into my father, pleasure washed over his face like I had never seen before. His eyes rolled back into his head, his mouth dropped open, and he shivered in ecstasy.
