Crown laughed. “I don’t want that dry-ass pussy, no way.”
My jaw slacked. “Ain’t shit dry over here,” I smacked, growing pissed at the nerve of him to talk to me like that.”
“Calm down,” Crown snickered as he pulled on the blunt, “I was just jokin’. I don’t know if yo’ shit dry or wet.”
My face grew hot. Standing, I was finished with this conversation. I’d sobered up.
“Damn you mad, huh? Guess that means I have to take my ass to the couch.” Crown chuckled.
Ignoring him, I trekked back inside the house. I thought about locking Crown out, but the front desk wouldn’t do anything but break their necks trying to get him another key made.
Back inside, I eyed his game. Niggas hate when their game is fucked with. I strolled over to the control and started pressing buttons because I had no idea what I was doing, and I wasn’t sure what game Crown was playing. He hadn’t come back inside yet, so I sat, getting comfortable as I began trying to figure out how to make the gun shoot. Once I finally figured it out, it was over with.
“Yo! What the fuck!” Crown barked, jogging over. He attempted to snatch the controller from me, but I was too quick for him in the high state that he was in. I ran away and was still playing the game.
The mug Crown was giving me was hilarious.
“All because I said your pussy was dry? Really, Kupid?” he muttered. “You fuckin’ up my stats, mane.”
I was behind the sofa. Crown huffed and sat down with his elbows on his knees and his face in his hands.”
“I’m really good at this!” I exclaimed to piss him off even further.
“You really suck.”
“No, you sucked because I’m helping you out,” I countered.
“You gon feel my wrath if you don’t hand my controller over, and I ain’t playin’.” Rolling my eyes, I tossed the controller over to him on the sofa. It almost fell, but Crown caught it in time. My brows rose, and so did his. “You pushin’ it.”
I waved him off with a flick of my wrist. “Whatever.”
Pivoting, I headed toward the room. Before I could even reach the door, I was snatched back and thrown over Crown’s shoulder, squealing.
“Wait!” I hollered when I heard the screen door open. “Where are you taking me?” I tried to turn my body, but the way Crown held me, I couldn’t see much. However, I could smell the scent of the chlorine in the pool get stronger and stronger. “Waaaaait!” I screamed out, but my screams fell on deaf ears once I was tossed in the air, and then water consumed me.
When I came up and spit out water, Crown was nowhere to be found.
“Stupid, nigga!”
Once I made it to shallow feet and could now walk, my pajama shorts were falling. They were heavy from the water. Picking them up, I held onto my shorts. There was a breeze, and now I was freezing. I stomped angrily up the pool steps and to the sliding door, where surprisingly, a towel was waiting for me.
“Stupid nice nigga,” I uttered, draping the towel around me. My teeth chattered a little bit.
Sliding the door open, I peek my head in. Crown was nowhere to be found. I stepped in, closed, and locked the door before walking to the room. I stopped in my tracks when I noticed a lump under the sheets.
“I know you fucking lying,” I spat. “I should throw your game system in the pool.”
“I can buy another, but you wouldn’t do that shit,” Crown said. He was lying comfortably on his stomach.
In the bathroom, I showered again and changed into another pair of pajamas. The clothes that were picked out for me were nice. They were exactly my size. This time, I was in a striped nightgown that stopped mid-thigh. I took my time moisturizing my body with EOS lotion and a body oil just like I did the first until that man…that damn man threw me in the pool.
Crown was snoring lightly when I emerged from the bathroom, still on his stomach. I padded to the other side of the bed and peeled the sheets back. Tucked in the bed on my side, I grabbed my phone and texted Nisha before powering it off.
I’ma kill you.
The following day, Crown was up before me. Shirtless, he was leaning against the kitchen counter, drinking coffee. He smirked as soon as his eyes dragged over to me.
“Good morning, sunshine. You ready to start our day?”
