“She hates to be seen with me, actually. She damn near freaked out ‘bout the basketball game.” I laughed just thinking about it. “She hates the spotlight. Kupid wants to do her job and go home. She fought me about this trip, too.”
“Hmm, I want to meet her. She sounds like a good girl, but I saw what she wore to the club.”
“Ma.” I laughed loudly. “She doesn’t dress like that for work, I swear.” The memory of Kupid in that black lace with the pasties over her nipples had my dick throbbing.
“I guesss. I still want to meet her when we return from Venice,” she said.
“I don’t know ‘bout that. It’ll be a lil’ weird for Kupid to meet my people when we’re not in a relationship. She’s a runner for sure.”
Mama tsk’d. “Turn your charm up a little bit, baby.
I snickered at my mama’s advice, but I also nodded as if she could see me. Nisha had planned a lot for us to do on this trip. It’d allow me to get to know her better and for me to get a feel of her. The way she flipped out about the one bed had me ready to call the pilot back my damn self and say fuck all this shit. That massive ass bed.
For another thirty minutes, I stayed outside, chatting with my mama. I had no idea what Kupid was doing inside. Iwas getting hungry and thought about heading over to the restaurant. After our call ended, I got up and strolled back into the house. It was quiet until I reached the bedroom. I could hear the shower running. I returned to the room where I’d left my suitcase and carried it to the half bathroom to freshen up.
My stomach felt like it was touching my back when I exited the bathroom. The munchies were hitting a nigga hard. Kupid came from the bedroom in a floral maxi dress and Chanel sandals. Not a hair on her head was out of place.
“Are we going out to eat?” she questioned. “Also…I want to apologize for earlier. I was being overly dramatic. I’m still going to kill Nisha.” We both laughed. I didn’t have a shirt on just yet. Kupid’s eyes glided over me.
“Yeah.” I was high as fuck and knew I was smiling goofily. “Don’t worry ‘bout earlier.”
Sauntering over to the living room area, I took out a wife beater and pulled it over my head, followed by a Gucci shirt that I left unbuttoned. The light blue Valabasas jeans were starched and hanging off my hips. Not too much to where my ass was hanging out, but just enough to where I felt my dick had room. The band of my Gucci boxer briefs was showing.
Kupid had wandered off. I sat down to put on my socks and Gucci sneakers. Another bag held my jewelry. After I had what I wanted to wear tonight, I trekked back to the bathroom to brush my teeth before putting my diamonds in my mouth.
I walked down the long hall and tapped on the slightly closed bedroom door.
“Come in,” Kupid’s melodic voice rang out.
I didn’t open the door. I just called out, “Ready when you are,” and headed back to the front of the house.
Kupid met me in the front.
“Your cologne is…intoxicating.”
“I like to smell good. It’s Y from YSL.”
“Let me spray some of that on my pillow tonight,” she giggled and.p my brows hiked.
“ You wanna smell me even in yo’ sleep?” I joked, causing her to blush.
“Nooo, I just like the scent,” she replied, clearing it up.
I locked up behind us. Kupid’s dress and hair flew back from the wind, making her look like a damn goddess to me. Her fruity scent smelled good to me, too.
“We can go over to the onsite restaurant tonight,” I told her as we began walking. I slowed down so that I could get a glance at Kupid’s ass jiggle in that dress. I bit back the groan that I wanted to escape because it was a sight to see.
“The weather is so nice out here,” Kupid turned back and stated. My eyes swiftly darted up, but I was sure she caught me staring at her ass. Her eyes slightly turned into slits. I stuffed my hands in the pockets of my jeans and grinned.
“Yeah, I love this weather. I love that dress on you, too.”
“Crown Heart,” she grunted, and I shrugged.
“Just stating the obvious and giving you a compliment. You said I smelled good, so where is the harm in complimenting you, Miss Love.”
Kupid pointed a finger at me and shook it. “I guess you’re right.”
We arrived at the restaurant and were quickly seated. As a gentleman, I pulled Kupid’s seat out for her.
