I don’t argue with him. I love riding his bike.
“Okay I’m going to get Charlie dropped off and see if I can smooth things over with Bishop. Pick me up at nine.”
“I’ll be there early,” he says with a grin.
“Why is that?” I ask teasingly.
“I have to make sure you’re getting what you need. Can’t have you making out with random bikers in the parking lot.”
I wrap my arms around his neck, smiling. “Be there at eight then. I’ll be waiting. I’ll be naked.”
“Fuck waiting. We can go to my office right now.”
I squeal in delight when he tosses me over his shoulder and carries me to his office, slamming the door shut behind him.

The Haven is packed when I pull up to drop Davina off. I recognize several bikes belonging to the Fallen Eagles MC.
“You coming in?” Davina asks and I nod, turning off my bike.
She looks too damn sexy in her tight jeans and white tank top. She blushes at my gaze. Besides, I can catch up with Owen and see if has any new intel.
“You have to stop looking at me like that.”
“I’ve always looked at you like this. You just didn’t realize it until now.”
We head inside and she gets to work while I look for Owen. He’s playing pool with one of his guys.
“Hey, man,” I say as I approach. “Everything good?”
He shakes his head. “One of our guys got taken out. Last place he was seen was here before stopping to get gas at the store down the street.”
Not what I was expecting to hear. Neither club has had any casualties since the RBMC clubhouse was blown up.
“No shit? Any ideas who did it?”
“I wouldn’t think The Harvester would’ve targeted him. He hasn’t been in the club that long. Only been patched in about six months.”
Owen is aware my brother is The Harvester. With his club being our ally, I filled him in when we went on lockdown. Collin doesn’t seem to be concerned with them anymore, though. I suppose he doesn’t have much use for them anymore. He was blackmailing Owen, but Taylor’s mom was his connection to their club. That connection was severed and we formed our alliance.
“Some piece of shit stabbed him at the damn urinal, left him to drown in his own blood.”
“Jesus,” I mutter, shaking my head.
“You guys need anything?” Sloan asks.
“Hey, who did you say Aiden was hooking up with?”
Sloan nervously glances at me before answering, “Um, I think he hung out with Davina once or twice.”
So, the dead Eagle was the one Davina was kissing in the parking lot. Might be a coincidence but I wouldn’t put it past Collin to be responsible. I almost want to thank him. Almost.
