And then you need to spill to the rest of us!

 Ellie

 There’s nothing to spill, guys.

 Abigail

 Yes. Because we believe that.

 Zachary

Apparently, they think they’re super sly.

 Wesley

Like we don’t all know that they’re K-I-S-S-I-N-G…

 Ellie

 Howold are we, Wes?

 Wesley

I refuse to answer that question, little Bradford.

 Ellie

Oh my god. I’m muting the chat. Bye.

 Penelope

She’s in denial. They’re obviously in looooove.

 Quinlan

Clearly. We all knew this would happen when Ellie moved to Seattle, right?

 Beau

Someone catch me up. I feel like I’m out of the loop??

Is this how Owen felt the last few years up in Seattle? Damn. It sucks. Miss you all.

 Owen

Sorry, can’t talk. Out at drinks with El and the guys. See you soon, Pen.

 THIRTY-SIX

 Ellie

What are you doing?” The counter was covered in sequins—and I was very aware of my current state, hunched over my Seals jersey, a tube of glue in one hand and a pair of tweezers in the other. My phone was propped up on the counter, on a video call with Owen while he was on his road trip.

“Um.” I looked between my craft project and him. “Bedazzling?”

“Ellie.” His voice was rough. “Is that my jersey?”

I batted my eyelashes a few times. “Maybe?” Well, it wasn’thisexactly, but one I’d gotten with his name on it. “I picked up an extra one at the last game I went to during intermission.” He opened his mouth to say something, and I interrupted him. “And before you say anything, I was with Soph. She made sure they gave me the friends and family discount.”
