My mind shattered in a way I had never experienced, the very core of my being changing as I experienced Sunny crashing into our pack bond.

She was mine.

I was still so lost in the sensations that, when she lurched forward and latched on to my wrist, sinking her own teeth into my skin, it set off another wave of release.

We could have laid on that kitchen counter for minutes or hours as we slowly came down from hands-down the most intense sexual experience of my life.

“Mine,” I growled lightly, peppering kisses along her neck, lapping at her newly acquired bite mark to soothe the skin.

“And you’re mine.” She sighed contentedly.

“No backing out now, Cher.”

“I’m good here,” she said, before giggling. “Though this counter is mighty cold!”

A bark of laughter escaped my chest. “How about we go back to your room and rest?”

She turned her head to look at me. “Like this?”

I winked. “I’ll carry you there and run fast!”

Cleaning the kitchen could be a tomorrow problem.

Laughing, I made a mental note to open all the windows and light a scented candle.

I doubted it would do much, but I refused to be ashamed of what we’d just done.

That didn’t mean I wanted other alphas who weren’t members of our pack smelling it, though.

For now, I just wanted to snuggle with my omega and bask in the newly bonded glory.

Chapter 37

Blaze

Iwasn’t a jealous man. I fucking adored the fact that Sunny had bonded with both of my pack mates. My turn would be soon, but I was willing to wait until Sunshine was ready.

Still, that didn’t mean that restraining myself wasn’t a gargantuan task. I loved Sunny and wanted to bond her so much my teeth hurt at the thought.

“Hey, did you pack my tool bag?” Walker asked as he handed the fussing Luka on his hip a sippy cup full of milk.

“I sure did. It’s in the truck, ready to go.”

Walker nodded. “We are going to need them.”

“Go in truck?” Luka asked hopefully.

Walker shook his head. “Sorry, not today, little man. Tomorrow, we go in the truck, okay?”

“Truck?” he asked, and Walker nodded.

It was officially day one of our move to the new pack house. I had only seen it in photos, but fuck, I was excited for Sunshine to finally have her own space. Having her at the firehouse was amazing, and she fit in perfectly, but an omega deserved her own little kingdom to rule over.

“Okay, Rune is already at the house, so give this little guy ten minutes to finish his milk and some breakfast and we’llhead over there.” He smiled down at Luka, who was absorbed in drinking his milk.

“I’ll let Sunshine know!” I said, ruffling Luka’s hair before bounding out of the room to find her.

It was really starting to sink in that we were about to move into our very own pack house with our omega. When she and Rune had come into the kitchen for breakfast that morning, my eyes had immediately honed in on the bite mark on her neck. Walker and I weren’t idiots. We could feel something had changed within our pack bond, and we pretty much knew what it was, but seeing them confirmed it.
