“You better hope he found a good hiding spot up there because when I find whoever you let touch you, I’m going to beat him to a slow, painful death with my bare fucking fists for putting his hands on mywife.”

My fingers squeeze her jaw menacingly before I shove her away and charge for the stairs, taking them two to three at a time until I reach the second floor.

“Matteo,” Valentina yells, following after me. When I ignore her and head for the master bedroom, she curses under her breath. “You stubborn, jealouspsycho…”

Sexy, raunchy music leaks through the slightly open door, sending my blood to temperatures reminiscent to those of the Earth’s core.

I kick it open and storm in as it goes flying to the side, before crashing loudly into the wall.

The last person I expected to find stands in the middle of my bedroom.

“What a show.” Dagny whistles and claps mockingly. "Bravo, that wasveryentertaining, Matteo.”

“What are you doing here?” I ask as I scan the rest of the room. There’s no one else here.

I turn towards Valentina as she erupts into the bedroom after me.

“I told you it was a friend,” she explains, crossing her arms over her chest. “You wouldn’t believe me.”

Confusion further twists the knots in my belly.

“Can you please tell me what’s going on?” I demand. “Where are the girls?”

“Adri is looking after them tonight so they wouldn’t be in the way.”

“In the way ofwhat?”

“Valentina was in the middle of making you a boudoir book for your anniversary, jackass.” Dagny’s voice pulls my attention back to her. She points down at a camera in her hands that I hadn’t even noticed and angles it to show me the digital screen. Using the side arrows, she scrolls through photo after photo of my wife posing in increasingly more alluring and provocative positions.

The anger drains instantly out of me, replaced with simmering irritation and a throbbing hard cock.

“Look how hot she is,” she praises, before lamenting, “I should have accounted for your psycho ass coming home early. Poor planning on my part.”

Annoyed, I snap. “Get out.”

Valentina gasps from behind me. “Matteo!”

“Now,” I add with a low growl.

Dagny laughs and types away on her phone. Seconds later, mine chimes.

“Just texted the pics to you. The cloud really is a beautiful thing.” She grabs her bag and heads for the door.

“I’m so sorry,” Valentina whispers regretfully.

“Don’t be, his primitive caveman act is actually the hottest thing I’ve ever witnessed. If I didn’t have my own at home, this whole exchange would be dominating my fantasies for the next three months.”

A menacing growl rumbles up my throat when she still doesn’t leave. “It’s becoming increasingly clear to me why Thiago chose to shoot you.”

Dagny turns her lips down dramatically at the corners, pouting. “Ouch. That reallystings, Matteo.” Then they slingshot upwards, her mouth curling up into a smile as she flips me off.

“Get the fuck out and go home to your husband.”

“I am,” she answers happily. “It’s been a while since he made a scene like this. Maybe I'll tell him about the cashier who hit on me at Waitrose.” She winks at her friend. “You two have fun now.”

Valentina waits until she’s gone before she whirls on me. “What the hell is your problem?” she blurts. “There’s no other guy, so why are you still acting like this?”

“You think just because she’s a woman, that means I’m not jealous of her?”
