Chapter 4
Sebastian ran his hand over Kay's burning hot cheeks. After the first round of correction, only a tiny blush had remained, but this round left her heated globes with a deeper hue. He'd also targeted the tender sit-spots more which would make sitting for the next few hours a bit uncomfortable. "Are you done?"
Kay nodded her agreement since she couldn't speak through the gag.
He turned her over so she was lying face up in his lap. Sebastian removed her panties from her mouth and wiped away the line of drool that followed. She blinked up at him, her eyes red from crying. Had he pushed her too far? Even though they had a long-standing history, he wasn't her boyfriend or her Dom. They weren't in a relationship, though all the arrows seemed to be pointing in that direction. She'd rung the bell, and he'd answered the call. He just hoped it was the right decision.
“Do you feel better?"
"I think so." Her voice sounded hoarse from the panties stealing the natural moisture of her mouth and she coughed.
"Let me get you some water." He slid her onto the couch, grabbed the holiday throw from the top of the couch, and covered her shoulders. Sebastian got a bottle of water from the fridge then returned. "Here."
Kay drank a few big swallows and nodded her thanks. "All of that was for real, right? I mean if we were to take things further, that would be the equivalent of a punishment."
"I'm not entirely sure what you're asking, but I wasn't playing. I reacted the way I would if we had rules established and you disregarded them. Respect is a big deal in every relationship but even more so in the dynamic I mentioned. Does that answer your question?"
"Sort of." She drank a few more sips from the bottle. "I could have fought you."
"Easily."
"Somehow you knew I wouldn't."
"Your statement isn't entirely true. The ramifications of such—"
"We're not in a courtroom."
"Yeah. I'm aware." For a moment, he wished they were. Facing down the opposing legal team while in a heated legal battle put him in his element. Hoping he knew what Kay wanted from him on a snowy day at the end of December, placed Sebastian outside of his normal scope. "Moving forward, sweetheart? Don't interrupt me." He took her right hand in his. "I want to make sure I'm clear on something. Am I to accept any challenges you throw as consent from here on out, Kay?"
"Perhaps, but I need more to go on. What are you asking to do with that consent?" She raised an eyebrow.
"I'm asking for you to let go. Let me make Christmas special for you. No worries. No expectations. I want to spoil you like you so richly deserve."
"You didn't spoil my ass a few minutes ago."
"Okay, I'll revise my proposal. I want to spoil you rotten when you listen and do what you're told, and punish you thoroughly when you don't." The thought of using toys on her in every way possible, as well as raining attention down on her, filled him with deep satisfaction. He wanted to make her his forever, to be cherished the way she’d only dreamed of. His offer wasn't just for Christmas Day as Kay might believe. It was his hope that, after a few days, he would prove how amazing their relationship could be. "What do you say?"
Kay blinked at him for several seconds, and she seemed deep in thought. "Spoil in a little kind of way or in a more adult sort of fashion?"
"Both. You would have two important rules. The first one is to relax. The second is also simple. If you feel uncomfortable with anything we're doing, then I want you to tell me right away."
"Even if I tell you two minutes after I agree to your magical Christmas terms? I want this in writing."
"Yes, even after a small window of time. Do you really want me to draft something, sweetheart? With my vast use of legal jargon, you might need a translator and an array of advisers to get out of it."
"No drafting! I think it might be ill-advised for me to agree to your conditions while I'm naked and with burning thighs, but I'll agree to your proposal. One day. No commitments. Two rules. A temporary contract of sorts."
"I never said one day." He flashed his biggest smile, the one typically saved for after he clenched a victory on a tough case. "Christmas varies in its length of time depending on what culture you follow. I would say I am culturally diverse. I celebrate them all." His smile widened. "There is also a blizzard still raging outside."
"You're epic in the courtroom, aren't you?"
"If you're curious enough to do an internet search, I'm one of the top ten lawyers in personal injury litigation in the country, but I'm not bragging."
"Did you get hordes of sexy new clients beating down your office door?"
"Nice deflecting skills, but we're not focusing on me today. Let's flip that coin again." Bastian reached over and plucked the coin from the coffee table. "I'll let you do the honors this time. You even get to pick the outcome." Sebastian tucked the coin into her hand.
"If it lands on heads then I suck you off. Tails? You go down on me." She flipped it in the air, and caught it. "Call it."
