"Yes, they do," I said. "In front of each other andwitheach other."
"They'll want to watch us?" It seemed more of a statement than a question.
"Watch, participate," I agreed. "They're getting very open with each other. If you and I are involved, they'll want to get open with you too. Is that something you want?"
He only hesitated for a moment before simultaneously nodding and shrugging. "If that's what it means to be with you, then I'm in. I'm not shy, no reason to start now. Although…" He cocked his head.
"What?" I prompted.
"If Storm is going to give a running commentary or critique on my methods, I'm going to knock his block off."
I laughed. "I'm sure he'll be able to contain himself. I think he's going to be too busy taking part to bother criticising your skills. Who knows, you might enjoy each other some day."
A hint of pink crept up Atlas' cheeks. "Is this one of those 'he must like you, because he's being a prick to you,' things?"
"I hadn't thought about that, but it might be." Now I desperately wanted to see Storm and Atlas kiss each other.
"Huh. We'll see, I guess." He smoothed down the side of my skirt. "I want to fuck you, but you're right. I should speak to Jay first. Otherwise, I feel like I'd be cheating. Even though we haven't really talked about…you know, us."
I pushed away the bubble of disappointment. I wanted to feel his cock inside me, but this was about more than sex. Everyone had to be on board with this, or it could blow up in all our faces.
Chapter Five
Dallas
I grunted."I respected Bruce, but now I don't know what to think."
I ate my sandwich with one hand, the other on Chelsea's thigh, my fingers between them. My favourite place for any of my body parts to be. Between her beautiful legs.
I still wanted to kick my own ass for responding to her the way I did the first time she sucked me off. I ran out the door like a dumb prick.
As soon as I slammed said door behind me, I realised I should have stayed. Pride kept me from going back into the room. Or maybe it was stupidity.
Either way, I went back for more later and didn't regret a moment of it. When I was near her, I couldn't regret it anyway. My brain was barely coherent. All I could focus on was her. Occasionally, the conversation going on around us. She was a whirlpool, and I was a piece of flotsam, twisting and turning my way around her, never breaking loose. Never wanting to break loose.
"You should still respect Bruce," Chelsea said. "He had a point, I don't have the experience. I might not be what the team needs."
"You're what I need," I said. "And if he didn't realise the team needed you, he is…was, out of his mind." I stroked my thumb up and down her warm skin.
"What I want to know is, who told him about your past?" Storm growled. "Fucker can end up the way Bruce did, far as I'm concerned."
"I have no idea who would have told him," Chelsea said. "Unless…" She frowned.
Storm turned around and frowned at her. "Unless what? Unless Atlas was bullshitting, and Bruce didn't know? Unless he was the one who told him?"
"Unless Atlas told Jay, and Jay told Bruce," Frost said. "Jay might have done what he thought Atlas wanted. Chelsea away from the team. He might have thought he was doing Atlas a favour."
"Joke's on him," I said softly.
"Right," Chelsea said. "I got the impression Jay didn't know, but I could be wrong. Fuck knows I've been wrong before. If that was what happened… Atlas was going to talk to Jay." She winced. "That might not go well. Atlas is going to be pissed off."
"Serves Jay right if he did," Storm said. He pulled out a chair, turned it around and straddled it. "Atlas might save us the hassle of having to get rid of him."
"No killing your teammates." Chelsea stared him down. "I'll make sure Atlas doesn't either. If I knew what he planned to do to Bruce, I would have stopped him." She ended the sentence with a regretful sigh.
"Then you wouldn't be working with us." I crept my hand up higher. "We might not see you every day. We would have been travelling without you." If I didn't put my cock in her at least once or twice a day, my balls would explode. That was how it felt, okay? I'd had nights without her at the insistence of the other guys, but I hadn't liked a moment of it.
"Which brings us back to moving in together," Storm said. "My place." Like usual, he left no room for argument.
