I pause in the foyer with my best friend. Caleblingers in the archway of the living area.

“Coming, JD?” Scarlett asks while Logan waitsoutside.

“Um.” I bite my lip and glance at Caleb.

“She’s staying,” he answers for me because I’vebecome too shy.

When I look back at Scarlett, she dips her headand peers up at me. “Are you sure?”

I nod. “Yeah. See you tomorrow.”

“Okay. See you.” She waves to Caleb, and I shutthe door once she leaves.

Drawing a deep breath, I slant to look at myboyfriend, hunger palpable in his captivating gray eyes.

My desire grows. “Uh, I’ll clean up with you.” Thesooner we finish, the sooner we can get to bed.

“Sure.”

I follow him into the kitchen and help clear theshiny quartz counters.

Afterward, Caleb removes the trash from the binand ties the bag.

My heart increases speed when our eyes lock.

“Sleepy?” he asks.

I nod.

“Go upstairs. I’ll put the trash out and turn offthe lights. I think Noah fell asleep in the basement. Let’s leave him there.”Sohe won’t hear us fucking.

“Okay.”

I climb the dark wood stairs and enter hisbedroom.

Grabbing a t-shirt from his dresser drawer, I haulit over my head after peeling off my clothes. It’s a little large on me,stopping above my knees.

Curious, I look around the walk-in closet, glidingmy fingers over Caleb’s pantsuit and casual clothes before pausing at the chestwith colognes on top. I spritz a few into their caps, exploring the variousscents that my boyfriend wears.

“What are you doing?”

I pivot, hiding my hands behind me.

“Hey…” I smile innocently. “I didn’t hear you comeup.”

Caleb arches a brow. “Were you smelling mycolognes?”

I wobble my head and attempt to set the bottleback on the chest stealthily.

Head at an angle, he regards his t-shirt on me.“Cute. But why are you wearing that?”

“Oh, sorry. I didn’t think you’d mind.”

“I do.” He swallows hard. “I want to see you. Takeit off.”

The intensity gives me chills, but I like notmaking it easy for him.

“Beg me,” I taunt in a flirty voice.
