Page 63 of A Pretty Fixation

The movie maintains its creep factor from thestart, causing us to cringe at scary moments. I like that Jordyn grabs my arm afew times and leans into my side. It pleases me that she finds comfort in me.

When the movie ends, we both groan.

I reach over to turn the lamp back on. “So, howwas it?”

“It had its moments. I was confused for the firsthalf and felt sad once things became clear. Great acting.”

“Yeah, it wasn’t bad.” I set the laptop on thetable and lie down with my head on the pillow.

“Um, you don’t want to watch another?” she asks.

I look at her. “No. I’m tired. Lie down with me.”

She tucks a strand of hair behind her ear beforesliding down. We’re close to the point that our arms are touching, but itdoesn’t feel close enough.

Staring at the ceiling, she places both hands onher stomach and blows a soft breath.

“What’s on your mind?” I ask.

My heart starts to beat faster the moment shemeets my gaze. “Um, I guess I’m realizing more and more that being with youdoes feel good.”

Shifting onto my side, I run the back of my handalong her face. “Stay the night.”

A nervous gasp slips out. “I’m not sure if I’m—”

“I just want to fall asleep beside you.” I move infor a passionate kiss, cock hardening as I toil my tongue with hers. Her mouthtastes so fucking good. It’s even better that she’s moaning.

When it comes to an end, Jordyn nods and tells me,“Fine. I’ll stay.”

I reach over to the lamp, turning the light off.Jordyn faces the other way to let me hold her from behind. When I do, she restsher hands over mine snugly. It’s as if she fears she’ll lose me.

Lowering my head, I press a gentle kiss on hershoulder in a way to promise that I’m hers forever, then I draw a heart in herback with my finger.

It’s hard not to shudder whenever I think ofCaleb. Waking up with his arms around me puts a smile on my face even now.

“What are you doing?”

I yelp and peel around, almost dropping my dad’scamera.

Aaron raises his hands, an apologetic look on hisface. “Sorry. I didn’t mean to scare you.”

“It’s okay.” I calm down. “Figuring out thiscamera.” I tuck the GoPro into my bag.

He observes my location. “You’re quite tucked awayhere by the trees. I got just a tiny glimpse of you.”

“It’s quiet.” But it’s more so because this is whereI had my first kiss with Caleb, and I like reliving the moment.

Aaron lingers on me a moment, then asks, “How muchtime before your next class? Want to grab a bite at the café?”

“Um, okay.”

A smile curls his lips, and he reaches out to me.“Come on.”

I slip my hand into his grip and let him help mefrom the ground.

We’re about to start walking when a dizzy spellfalls over me, and I stagger a bit.

“Hey.” Aaron holds me steady. “Are you all right?”
