“Forget it. I was actually starting to think you’re a good guy. Fool me once… I’m out of here.”

“Jesus, Celest. Slow down.” I shove my dick in my pants and follow her out into the bar.

“No. I’ve fulfilled my duties for the day. We had a friendly lunch, and I gave you the benefits. Now, I’m going home.”

“At least let Russell take you home.”

“Fuck off, Flex.”

I grab her hand and stop her in her tracks. No one disrespects me in my club. “You better take that back for everyone in this place to hear, or this is done.”

“Like you don’t have five other subs on speed dial, waiting tobite their arm off.”

“Do as you’re told, or I swear to God I will put you over my knee right now and let everyone watch how you cream for me when I spank your pussy. Fucking. Apologize.”

“I’m.Sorry. Master Navarro.” She is livid right now, but so am I.

“A little louder, pet. Make sure even Eli can hear you.”

“I’m! Sorry! Master! Navarro!”

I grip her chin and pin her with my gaze. “Good little pet. Now run along, and Russell will take you home. This is not up for discussion. I’m not making a deal with you. The time for that is done. Do as you’re fucking told.”

She has the good sense to stare at the floor as I walk her out to the curb. “You and I are going to have a little chat this week. Understood?”

“Yes.”

“What’s your fucking problem, Celest?”

“You!” she screams as I fling open the door of my town car. “You’re messing with my head. If you don’t want my attitude, then you’re shit out of luck, Flex. What the fuck do you want from me?”

“I wantyou.”

“Stop. Don’t make promises you can’t deliver on. You want the idea of me. Not me. I’m just like any other submissive you’ve fucked, except they had a contract.” She slides into the back seat and pulls the door closed before I can say anything else.

Russell pulls out into traffic as I stand completely fucking dejected on the sidewalk. This has to end. I can’t keep doing this, and it’s visibly not good for Celest. We need to make this shit official. It’s the only option because I’m not letting her walk away from this. From me.

I’ve lost enough people in my life. I won’t lose her. With my mind made up, I head back inside. I’m going over to her place to have it out with her this week. This is bullshit, and whatever she’s hiding, I’ll fucking deal with it.

Chapter 13

FLEX

It’s been four days since Celest and I fought outside Venom. I’ve been giving her space, but I’ve not had so much as a fucking text from her. It’s pissing me off how much she has me by the goddamn balls right now. I’m going to fix my error. She’s a submissive. She needs structure and rules just like every other sub.

This seemed like a really good idea on the way over here, but now I’m standing on her front steps and wonder if I’m about to kick the hornet’s nest.

The door opens, and Celest looks horrified at the sight of me. Shock turns to anger as she steps out onto her porch, shutting the door behind her. “What are you doing here, Flex? I told you I’m not looking for a guy to be part of my real life.”

Her wording irks me. “The club isn’t ‘real.’ Is that what you truly believe?” She looks me up and down before her eyes stray to my motorcycle and the second helmet draped on the handlebars.

“Why do you even care? It’s real. It’s not. Either way, you get to do what you want with my body with none of the commitment.”

“You’re not that stupid. You know why.”

She crosses her arms over her chest. “I really don’t. Why are you here?” she yells.

“Jesus Christ!” I run my fingers through my hair, exasperated. “Are you that clueless?”
