I zone out. My brain is at war with what to do about Alina and the baby. I hadn’t used anything that day, fucking stupidly. Hell, I was too caught up in her, in the damn moment. Fuck, in all the moments. Seeing my cum leak from her pussy did somethingto me. Fuck, it was territorial, like I was claiming her as mine. Even though I wasn’t. It was a fuck, a one-off. Shit, and now she had shown up here looking every bit as fuckable in that figure hugging dress and those god damn sexy as fuck heels, handing me papers to sign on options for the baby. I was stunned, pissed that she was treating me like I was a client. There ain’t no way she will let one of us watch her. I’m sure a biker following her every move won’t be good for business. Then there is the fact that she gave me an out, a contract I could sign if I wanted nothing to do with the baby. Fuck, that pissed me off. She was making an assumption because of who I am. The only decision I need to make, the one I am struggling to make, is if I become involved now, will she be at risk? Or do I wait until we get Eugene?

“Oi! Dickhead.” Ghost yells, snapping me out of my thoughts.

I blink and look around the table, the now empty table. “Shit,” I mutter.

Ghost sighs. “I know you’ve got this shit to deal with, but I need you to fix it. Sort it whatever way you choose, because I need your head in the fucking game right now. I don’t want to lose another brother to Eugene, and fuck, I don’t want my kid or woman getting any backlash from him either.”

I nod and pinch the bridge of my nose. “I know, Pres. I know. Fuck, what would you do?” I ask.

Ghost stands, thinking for a second. “I’d drag her ass back here and keep her on lockdown if it was Star. If it was a random bitch I didn’t give a shit about, they would have protection no matter what. I could hate the mother, but that’s my kid.” He shrugs.

“Yeah well, I don’t think Alina would take too kindly to being kidnapped and forced to stay here,” I state.

Ghost snorts out a laugh. “And what, Star would? Fuck, she broke her ankle trying to run, remember?” he asked.

I smirk and shake my head. Man, she fought him every step of the way. Even now she lives to make his life hell. “Maybe if I had a place out of here, I could convince her to stay?” I muse.

“Give me your phone,” he says, holding out his hand. I do as he stated and hand it over. “Call this woman, Tessa. She will have properties available to look at. Tell her I sent you. She will give you a good deal,” he states, handing back my phone.

“You mean buy a house? Fuck, that’s a bit serious, ain’t it?” I frown.

He looks at me. “You are having a kid. Even then, you need a room for him or her. You get a place. Give her her own room. She’s protected, as it’s your place. We can have it on the same security system we now have all of ours on. You get to be there for her if she needs you, and she can still work. Then if you change your mind and you decide you want her in your bed, then she ain’t got far to go.” He smirks.

I nod, looking at the number on the screen. “Guess today’s the day I become a fucking adult,” I mutter before hitting call.

Ghost chuckles and slaps his hand on my shoulder before walking out the door.

“If you walkthrough the glass doors, you will see a decent sized yard.” Tessa points, gesturing to the yard. It’s a nice house; it has three bedrooms, a large open-plan kitchen diner, and a large living room with an open fireplace. There were no neighbours within at least 5 miles, and it has a large yard that backs on to a farmer’s land. I walk out onto the back decking and look up at the house, wondering where I can put the cameras. “I think you will be pleased with the security this property has to offer. You have complete privacy, and you can control who enters, as you need to drive by the security gate at the end of your drive,” Tessa continues. I give her a look, and she smilesback, giving me a shrug. “You are not the first biker I’ve sold to. I’ve become accustomed to what it is you look for,” she admits.

I nod as I walk back inside, taking one last look around. “I will take it,” I say. “But for ten grand off the asking price, and I want to move in within two weeks,” I state.

Her eyes widen. “I can get the seller to accept the price, but I don’t think I can arrange it for that soon,” she splutters.

“Phone the seller now,” I demand. She hesitantly pulls her phone out, dialling before she goes to place it to her ear. I snatch it from her, and although she tries to protest, I step away, ignoring her.

“Tessa! I hope you’ve managed to sell that property,” a deep voice answers.

“Well now, that all depends on you,” I say, pausing. “I’m in the property now, and I want ten grand off the asking price. I want to move in within two weeks,” I state.

“Well, I—” he starts, but I cut him off.

“Let me stop you a moment. I am a cash buyer,” I state. Pausing, I let that sink in. “I know no one is living in it, and I know you’ve had it up for sale for the past six months without much interest. I am stood here now offering to take it if you can assure me all contracts will be taken care of, and I can move in within two weeks.”

“If I could do two weeks, I would. The best I can do is a month,” he answers.

I smile. “Fine, but I will be taking another ten grand off my offer for the inconvenience,” I state.

“Wait. What if you can move in there in two weeks, but the contracts will be done in a month? That’s two weeks of free rent until the property is yours,” he counters.

“I’d say you’ve got yourself a deal. Send the agreement in writing, signed within the hour,” I state before disconnecting.I hand the phone back to Tessa, who is stood there, her jaw practically on the floor.

“How in the…?” she asks.

“Always do your research, Tessa,” I say with a wink. “Email me his signed agreement, and I will pick up the keys in two weeks,” I state over my shoulder as I leave.

I climb on my bike while looking up at the house. Now I’ve just got to convince Alina to move in. Fuck me.
