Calvin barked out a laugh. “Ah, I believe we’ve discovered your first pushback. I was wondering when that would happen. But you’re my good boy, aren’t you? You want to make your Daddy happy?”
Ellery licked his lips. “Nice one, Daddy.”
Suddenly, picking up his toys didn’t seem like the worst idea ever. Instead, he wanted to do an extra good job so he could show off his accomplishment later. The feeling he’d experienced when he gave Daddy the collage of songbirds he’d made for him had been magical. The excitement Daddy had shown was something Ellery hoped he could inspire over and over again.
Calvin tugged him closer then gave him a slow, sensual kiss. Ellery melted against his Daddy, confused over whether he should be feeling so adult right now. Then he remembered what Calvin had said about going with what felt natural.
This feltextranatural.
Calvin broke the kiss. “All better?”
Ellery gave a shaky laugh. “Better in one sense.”
“But not in another?”
“We’ve discussed a lot of age play stuff, which I’m thrilled about, but then there’s how freakin’ hot you make me.”
Calvin choke-snorted. ”Well, in case you’re wondering, you make me hot, too.” He grabbed Ellery’s hand and pressed the palm to his erection. “See? Daddy wants his baby boy very much.”
Ellery’s knees went a bit weak. “Oh…” Wasn’t he supposed to be doing something?
Calvin pulled his hand away and Ellery whimpered. Calvin winked.
“Cleaning up and dinner first.”
Zero interest. Ellery had zero interest in anything else right now.
Calvin patted his bottom. “Come on, do as you’re told. The quicker everything gets taken care of, the sooner we’ll have grown-up time.”
Fuck, yeah.
His Little haddefinitelydisappeared.
“Okay, Daddy. You got it.”
Calvin chuckled then pressed a kiss to his forehead before leaving the room. Then, Ellery set about his task and performed it with lightning speed. However, once he surveyed the results he was not at all pleased. The haphazard placement of wooden block houses, cars and trains on the shelves wasn’t anywhere near the neat and inviting way they’d been before he started playing with them.
His shoulders slumped. This wasn’t something he wanted to show off to make his Daddy proud. This was awful. He’d always taken pride in his displays at the shop. Probably half the reason Mr. Schultz had kept him on was how much he loved Ellery’s displays. And even though his apartment was crappy overall, he’d gone to great lengths to make it appealing.
With a sigh of resignation, Ellery went back to arranging things until they met his personal standards. He crossed his arms as he surveyed the result of his labors.Thiswas a presentation he’d be proud to show off to Daddy.
“Ellery! Wash your hands, it’s time for dinner.”
“Okay, Daddy!”
He made one last quick appraisal of his handiwork then bolted from the room. Now he wasextrahungry.
After following Daddy’s orders, Ellery stepped into the kitchen, only to discover that while there were plenty of serving dishes, the table wasn’t set. He glanced up at Calvin.
“Do you need me to help with anything?”
“No, thank you sweetheart.” Calvin’s head peeked up from behind the open refrigerator door. “We’ll be eating in the dining room, and I’ve already taken care of all that. But I was thinking. You’ve been having quite a bit of cranberry juice and I thought you might like to try something different. I have a passionfruit herbal iced tea and some fresh lemonade. Would either of those appeal?”
Ellery felt so pampered. “Can I have the tea tonight, please?” A thread of excitement coursed through him as he remembered his visit with Calvin wasn’t for only one night. “But I’d like to try the lemonade tomorrow, if that’s okay.”
Calvin smiled as he pulled out the iced tea pitcher. “Of course it is, baby boy.” Calvin set the pitcher on the counter then removed two glasses from a cupboard by his head. “I’m curious. Were you raised to be this polite? Or was that something you learned while working with Masters?”
“My parents, especially my dad, demanded that of us. I’m glad, though. I’ve met a lot of rude people over the years.” He rolled his eyes. “Some of those brats at the clubs deserve every spanking they get.”
