“Were you there the whole time?” She squeaked.

Taka nodded. “Of course.”

She blushed brightly.

Rayd chuckled. “Come on, Zara. You need a rest to continue bonding with us.”

She looked at the window, and the light was turning red. “How long were we...”

Lykon chuckled. “Five hours. You have a lot of stamina, Zara, but you need to let your body take in the connections we have put in place.”

She sighed. “How thoughtful.”

They got together and had a shower in the pack shower, and when they were in the robes that had appeared at the foot of the bed while they were in the shower, they headed down to the main rooms.

The heavy scent of flowers reached her a moment before every colour of flower in the rainbow was around her. Lykon asked softly, “Do you like them?”

She felt the tears on her cheeks as she walked up to the first bouquet of lilies with beautiful oranges and yellows. They were stunning and fragrant, and she touched them softly with her fingertips. “They are wonderful. I had forgotten these colours.”

Lykon exhaled. “Good.”

Zara walked toward the table with twenty dishes from around the world and plates and wide chairs. Three wide chairs.
