Courtney presses her lips together, like she’s trapping in another laugh. “No apology needed.” She wraps her arms around herself. “But if you could hand me my pants, my legs are getting a little cold.”

“Right.” I turn and find them, then hand them to Courtney. “I’d like to walk you back, but I should go through the house to head off anyone who might be drunk wandering.”

Courtney nods and bites down on the start of another smile.

“What?” I ask.

Her smile wins. “You, um, might want to put your dick away.”

Courtney

My legs are dry,having been out of the hot tub long enough, so it’s easy to pull my thin sleep pants on. My underwear still feels damp, but I’ll take those off as soon as I get back to my cabin.

Sterling struggles a bit to get himself tucked away, making me smile all over again.

Palms on my cheeks.

My smile fades, just a bit.
