White bursts of lights fluttered behind my eyelids as he continued to swirl his fingers inside me. My breath heaved in and out in fast succession, but I was too stimulated to move.

“We need to make it official.” He rustled behind me with one hand still holding me down. “You made the right choice.”

I glanced over my shoulder as he undid his belt.

“Wait!” I pushed myself up from the bookcase and turned to face him.

“I don’t want to wait.” He tangled his hand in my hair and kissed me with the force I’d come to expect from him. The power I craved. “If I claim you like this, there is no going back for either of us.”

“Not here.” I gazed around the room. “Not like this.”

“Why not?” He kissed the corner of my mouth. “It’s what we both need.”

“I, ah, well, I want to be with you. I definitely want you to be my first.” I kissed him softly. “Just not like this.”

He gripped my upper arms and backed me against the shelves. His expression flipped from sexy and lustful to…rage?

“Your first what?”

Kidnappinga virgin who was promised to an arms dealer might not have been my best idea.

In fact, I’d probably rank it up there in my top fiveworstideas, and that was saying something since I was known for doing some pretty daring shit.

“Did you hear what I said?” Lissia asked, all wide-eyed and innocent. “I want you to be my first.”

“It was hard not to hear you.” I released her from my unwavering hold and went back to the crystal vodka bottle my father had acquired during one of his visits to the old country. “A virgin?”

“Is that a problem?” She bit her bottom lip as she played with the ends of her hair.

“Why didn’t you tell me?” I poured myself a double shot.

“I just did.”

“Why didn’t you tell me before I almost fucked you against the bookshelves?”

“I did.”

I downed my vodka, totally understanding why I was at war. Not only had I taken Gian’s daughter hostage, but I also threw a serious wrench into his plans to marry her off. Her innocence was probably a huge factor in negotiating a deal with Collins.

Fucking her took on a whole new meaning.

I poured the rest of the smooth vodka from the elaborate bottle into my glass. I’d have to get Milo to bring me another case if I planned to get through this debacle. I did drink a lot but her presence only made me want to do it more.

“You’re mad because I’ve never had sex before?” She took the glass out of my hand and finished my drink. “I thought that was a good thing.”

“You have no idea how good it is.”For me.

“Then what’s the problem?” She set the glass on the desk, then draped her arms around my neck. “You said it yourself, we both need this.”

“I changed my mind.” Not really, but I had to slow things down and reassess this situation. If I claimed her, I would ruin her for Collins. She would be useless in Gian’s marriage arrangement.

While I would love to stick it to both of them, could I send Lissia back to them as damaged goods? What would happen to her if I did that?

“I don’t understand,” she said.
