“I’ll go slow, Vee. If it hurts, you stop me, understood? This is about ourpleasure, not pain.”
She nods her head before resting it on Kay’s shoulder, his hands rubbing her body to soothe her. Her breathing is still shallow as she tries to calm down from her orgasm, but she’s relaxed enough. Pressing against Kay’s cock, I manage to slip my head inside, the tightness nearly my undoing. This won’t be long, that’s for sure. Her moans spur me on, so I press further at a steady pace until I’m pressed ball to ball with Seuke.
Making the first move, I pull back slowly and press back in, my pace controlled and smooth. Their moans are delicious, spurring me on, so I speed up, wanting more. Vee screams my name, panting ‘yes’ as I pound into her faster and faster. Kay grunts, his body tensing as he struggles to hold out just a little longer. Surprisingly, I’m not as close as he is.
My movements falter slightly as his tentacle caresses my balls, rising around them to slide into my ass, the vibrations hitting just the right nerves to set me off with a roared, “Fuck!” Kay goans along with me as our cocks jerk, emptying into Vee, who begs for more, grinding against us. It drips down onto us, making a massive mess, but I couldn’t care less in this moment.
Pulling back, I collapse onto the bed. My eyes drift shut as I try to slow my breathing, that is until I’m startled by something rubbing my cock. Vee is on her knees licking me clean, her moans a symphony to my ears before she does the same to Kay. He pulls her to sit on his face as he cleans her up before snuggling her between us.
She wiggles, groaning, and I slide a hand between her legs to catch our release and shove it back into her with two fingers. “How about I just keep these here to make sure it sticks?” When she turns her head, I kiss her deeply.
“I don’t know how well I’ll sleep, if at all if you’re inside me, but why not. I’m yours to do with as you please, right, sir?” She mutters softly, emphasizing the sir, and my cock nearly springs back to life completely.
“My dirty girl. Get some rest so I can fill you more later. Don’t make me punish you.” I nip at her ear, causing her to giggle before settling.
My eyes drift shut slowly, one arm wrapped around my love, fingers settled between her thighs as she presses her ass into me. Seuke lies on his back, her head on his shoulder, his breaths deep and even.
My mind wanders, curious as to what our future will hold. How many children will we have? Who will they be like? Will we have a home on the surface by then so they can run around in the sun? The possibilities seem endless now, and I can’t wait to see what they become.
Chapter 21
Kari
Vahrusilentlystewsaswe head into the village to meet with the chief and discuss this Tavionna issue between the three of us. This is about our family, it’s personal, so it needs to be decided between us. I shake my head, blinking to make sure I’m really awake and having these thoughts. It’s so odd to me to be able to think about doing things as a family, a single unit of people who truly love me. It’s a first and so foreign to me.
Kosiiba trails behind us, keeping his gaze alert for anything untowards, not that he’ll find anything in our safe little village, silly boy. His dedication to me is sweet, though, I must admit, and the kindred bond I feel with him as my protector is deeper than friendship, for sure. Not romantic in any sense of the word, but definitely more. We’re connected now on a soul deep level that allows us to be open and secure with each other. He’s my safety net, and I like that, strange as it seems.
Aside from Jeff, I’ve never had a safety net, never had someone I could count on unlike anyone else to protect me. I often just watched out for myself and those around me, I was the leader and that’s what it meant. It was my responsibility to be the protector. It’s strange to switch roles, but it’s also nice, comforting.
Stepping up on the chief’s porch, Vahru hollers as he enters, announcing our presence. I pause, something in me knowing that Kosiiba isn’t coming, and turn to face him as he settles against the front porch wall. “I’ll be right out here if you need me, Captain. This is for you guys, a family thing, you don’t need me listening in. You’re safe.” He gives me a reassuring smile, and I pat his arm as I step inside, closing the door behind me.
We find Criido in the main room on this throne of sorts. He steps down and ushers us to the sitting room where tea and breakfast waits on the table in the middle. “Tonya still insists on coming by every morning to make breakfast and assure that I’m safe and well. She often makes all my meals anymore. She’s sweet, that one.”
I smile at his words, thinking that sounds exactly like Tonya. Makes me wonder if perhaps she feels something more towards the chief or if it’s truly out of a friendship that’s grown to be quite deep. It’s not the time to discuss such thoughts, so I push it aside and settle on the couch opposite Criido and Vahru.
“So, what is it we need to discuss, Kari?” Criido eyes me with a gentle smile as he lifts a tea cup to his lips, his brows raising. His graying hair is braided back with feathers today, and he’s wearing similar brown pants and jewels to the day I met him. He looks every bit the elder chief of the village. Will I have to dress like that when I take over?
Clearing my throat to redirect my mind, I pull the letter from my skirt pocket and hold it between two fingers next to my face. “I was given this by Tavionna. It’s directed to you and Vahru, who’s already read it, but I think it warrants a conversation between us all before anything else happens.” Leaning over, I hand him the parchment and sit back, grabbing a plate and filling it with eggs, bacon, and the orange fruit I love so much.
Vahru sits back, watching his father, refusing to eat as he waits for an assessment. He’s still uncertain, fighting himself on this entire thing. I wish he would relax and let things be. This is a good thing, but he’s acting like it’s the end of the world. I just hope his father can convince him otherwise.
Criido slowly lowers the letter to the table and looks up at me. “What do you think of this letter, Kari? Is she genuine? You spent the most time with her, did you not?”
I nod, glancing at Vahru before focusing back on the chief as I swallow the fruit in my mouth. “I think she’s truly genuine. This entire situation started out all rocky, she made poor decisions, but she’s since realized some things about her life, about her mother and herself that have led her to see that what she did was never the real answer. She wants to have a real family, and she’s asking for forgiveness. I think it would be good for all of us to talk with her, build a relationship. She’s agreed to help with housing more of the kids Charlie is saving, so it’s a good common ground for us to build upon.”
Vahru huffs and sits forward, catching Criido’s attention. Criido’s brow raises, his gaze piercing as he studies his son. “What do you think?”
“I think it’s a fucking ploy. She was out to kill you, you don’t just suddenly decide not to kill someone you thought was worthy of death. That’s ridiculous!” Vahru’s voice is loud, his frustration getting the better of him.
Setting my plate down, I quickly stand to put my foot down on the matter. “You know nothing of her, you’re quick to judge and assume that she’s some monster. Yes, she made poor choices, but do you understand why? She no longer has a motive to do the things she planned, and that’s because of us! Did you know that while growing up, her mother rarely told her she loved her, and she stopped saying it when she was barely seven? Did you know that she had little to no interaction with other kids in her colony because they picked on her for being a freak, and her mother intentionally pulled her from schooling to focus on her priestess studies? If she failed in any way, messed up a tonic, ruined a ritual, failed to contact her spirit guides, she was beaten, locked under guard for days to practice until she got it right. Even when she got things right, she wasn’t praised. Her mother only cared about her power. And if she asked about her father, so help her, her mother would lose it, tell her he was a nobody who didn’t matter, she was above him and to forget about him. He was useless. She was used, abused, and treated like an item her entire life. So when her mother left her with a dying colony and no way to fix it, she thought the right thing to do was lash out because that’s all she’s known. Since Seuke, Xenshay, and she bonded, she now knows what true love, true family, is, and she wants to make it right with you two so she can have more of a family, a parent that she always wished for. Her people are healthy, she has mates, and she now has the power to terraform the fucking planet with her bare hands and a wish, Vahru, she doesn’t need this village or your father to live happily. She’s already called me her sister, and the twinkle in her eye when she did, the joy I saw in her at having a loving family member, it meant everything to her. Let go of your fear and anger and see what’s in front of you. She’s not a threat.”
My breath huffs from me as shock begins to register. I didn’t realize I was so passionate on the matter, but I’ve had enough of his stupidity on this. He’s holding a grudge, and while I can understand to an extent, I also think he’s being a child and holding onto the past simply because he doesn’t like the changes for his future. But change is a part of life, it will come whether we want it to or not, and he can either accept it and make the best or stay in the past and lose his chance at a future filled with love. Because I love him, I don’t want him to make the wrong choice, therefore I will fight till my dying breath to convince him to join me, but I can’t force him. All I can do is hope and try.
“She called you sister? She’s accepted you?” Criido stares at me with wide eyes, Vahru’s shocked expression still firmly in place as his gaze bounces between us, head turning back and forth.
I slowly sit back down, nodding my head. “Yeah, she was so grateful for all our help in saving her people, and to me for talking her through some of her trauma, helping her see that we weren’t the enemy. When she collapsed after overexerting her power, and I caught her, she called me sister. She did it again when I left and hugged me. She wants a connection, and I’m more than happy to give her that. We could use another ally, especially if what’s happening on our planet is as bad as The Guardians are hinting.”
Criido grins and nods his head as if he’s impressed. I note the shine of pride in his gaze as he stares at me a moment longer before turning to Vahru. We stare at him together, waiting to see what he’ll do. His gaze bounces between us for a long time before he sighs.
