NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!
Leo
"What the fuck are you talking about? There's no way I'm just going to let you go to the Hands of Hell clubhouse. That shit's not happening, Nisa." I push up from my seat so hard, it goes flying back into the wall.
When Phoenix and her came up with this plan to get close to Marc so we can take them out, the Hands of Hell had nothing to do with it. I'd never have agreed if they did.
"Leo, you know it's not my choice. If we want Marc to believe I'm really on his team, I'm going to have to do some things you don't like."
"I don't like? This has nothing to do with things I don't like. This is fucking suicide. Or homicide because if I have to go in there to rescue you I'll have to kill one of those motherfuckers." I snarl.
"Bro, what's going on?" Rumble stands looking between Nisa and me.
"She wants to have a meeting with the president of Hands of Hell." I say and hear the grumbles and gasps among my club.
"I don't want to. I have to, there's a difference." Nisa defends herself.
"Kid, you don't know how dangerous they are." Spike adds.
"I don't. That's why I need you to tell me what I'm about to get into." Nisa turns in his direction. This isn't going how I thought it would. I don't want her in danger at all. I've had just about enough of this shit.
"I said no. It's final." With that, I storm out of the kitchen and toward my room. Nisa rushes up behind me and grabs my arm before I can get too far.
"Leo, listen to me."
"No, I'm not going to listen to you. I'm not because you don't even know what you're saying. If you knew half the things I knew about the hands of hell you'd never ask me to let you go."
She takes a breath and reaches up with trembling hands to cup my face. "You're right, on any normal day I'd never ask you to let me do this. If this was anyone other than Marc, I'd tell him to go to hell, but it's not. I want this to be over. I want this dark cloud to move from above us. You have to let me do this. Trust me, Leo. I'm coming home to you. The same way I trust that you'll always come home to me." I see the sincerity in her eyes.
What the hell is wrong with me. Just tell her no.
I growl loud and squeeze my eyes shut as I fight against what I know is right and what I want to do. "If they hurt one hair on your fucking head..."
"They won't. I'm not going there to start trouble. Just to talk."
I shake my head in disdain. The people that run with the Hands of Hell MC aren't the type to just talk. They're all about action. It's their fucking motto. Destruction by their hands. "I still don't feel good about this."
"I know it Leo. I know." She nods her head and leans up on her tip toes so she can brush a soft kiss against my lips.
When the hell did I get so weak? How does one little kiss from her get me to calm down like this.
"Now, tell me what I need to know. Keep me safe with knowledge." She smiles and takes a step back, waiting for me to spill my guts.
"You have to play like you're uninterested, and you can't walk in there scared, or they'll be all over you." I start, giving Nisa and Phoenix everything I know about the Hands of Hell MC. They are an intense club, but only if they sense weakness. If they see Nisa as strong and maybe even protected by Marc, I'm hopeful they won't mess with her too much.
It's one thing to go to war with Marc. I don't think my club is going to come out in one piece if we go to war with the Hands of Hell too.
"What else?" Nisa leans in closer as if she is more interested in what I'm saying than the fact that I'm about to send her into the worst place I could ever send her.
"What the hell do you mean, what else?" I sigh and rub my fingers against the bridge of my nose. Nothing about this feels right. It feels like I'm being shoved into a corner. All I want to do is lash out.
I know it's not her fault, but I don't know who else to blame.
If she hadn't gotten mixed up with Marc in the first place, I wouldn't have to deal with this.
"Leo, everything is going to be fine."
"How the hell do you know that?" I squint at her. "How can you be sure that everything is going to be okay? You don't know these people the way I know them." I shake my head, hoping she gets what I'm trying to say to her.
