I pinch the bridge of my nose, take a deep breath and take a step back. There's no use reaming him out right now, not when there are injured people here.

"Yeah, I know, Fuck." I look over Rumble's shoulder at Cross, Fish, and Shake pushing and pulling at the debris on the ground. "What's going on."

"We got some people trapped." He rubs the back of his neck.

My heart clenches, "What the fuck! Why didn't you say that shit in the first place?" I push by him, and everyone else in the clubhouse comes to help as well.

"Get this shit off me! Fuck!" I hear someone screaming from under the rubble. It's Spike.

I don't know how he's still alive under there, but I can hear him cursing us out.

"Lift on three!" I order. "One, two, three!" All of us heave up, and Spike pulls himself out of the small concrete coffin he's in.

It looks like the entire back patio area is under debris, "Do you know how many people were out here with you?" I help him up, and he shakes the dust out of his hair.

"Four or five," Spike says.

I send Shake to call the police. Even with Doc trying to patch everyone up, there are still too many injured civilians here for him to take care of. I'm going to willingly open my doors to the jakes.

We get most of the debris cleared just as I can hear the loud ambulance sirens stopping at the front of the clubhouse.

"Dammit, there's one more," Rumble calls out. He starts picking up large slabs of concrete, and we all rush to help him.

I watch in complete shock as each piece we lift reveals a small woman's frame—a familiar one.

"No, oh God no." My skin prickles with anxiety, and my heart feels like it's about to explode through my chest.

The boys lift the final large piece of concrete off the woman, and I see a mop of honey brown hair. Blood and dirt highlight the strands.

"Fuck! Doc! Get here now! Doc!" Panic rushes through my body as I drop down and pick her up gently. "Come on, please!" I wipe the blood away from her head, but more floods the area. "Open your eyes!" I scream down at her.

This shit can't be happening again.

I feel Doc running up behind me as I cradle the small woman to my chest.

"Oh shit." He whispers as he drops to where I am and sees who I'm holding. No one says a word besides me.

I told her ass to go. She shouldn't fucking be here. She can't be hurt like this.

"Nisa, come back to me."

CHAPTER 4

NISA, IS THAT YOU?

Leo

A strong hand pushes at me. Someone is trying to get me to let Nisa go. When I look up, I see it's the paramedic.

"Sir, you've got to let me get to her. Please move." The man is all business. I can appreciate that. He knows what needs to happen, and he's doing it.

"Leo, come on." Doc grabs the still unconscious Nisa from my grasp and lays her on the ground softly. I back away just as the paramedic slides in to check her over.

"Fuck, what was she doing here? I thought you told her she wasn't allowed?" Tella says from behind me.

"No shit, Tella! Obviously, she didn't fucking listen." I clench my jaw and look around the crowd of my brothers. "Everyone that needs to see the medics, do it, everyone else we got fucking church." I push my way through the bunch of them and walk into the clubhouse.

I groan when the first person I see snooping around my space is Sheriff Bobbins, the prick has it out for us. Usually, we keep our shit quiet, and he never has enough information or evidence to fuck with us. An explosion is just the type of incident thatcould give him enough to take one of us down. I watch him order the rest of the police force he has to bag up any suspicious items.
