I focus my attention back on Nisa who is walking over towards Marc. "I'm not here for trouble." She says, that fire in her voice I'm used to already tampered down.

"I think you are. Tell me what did those bastards over there at Chrome Creed pay you to do this?" Marc reaches forward and grabs her hair hard enough for her to scream out.

"No! Fuck no!" I'm out of my seat before the sound of her cry ends.

"Leo! Prez, just wait!" Rumble stands in my way. "She's okay. She's okay!" He puts his hands up trying to calm me down but I don't want to be calmed, I want to get my woman.

"Marc, get your hands off me." Nisa snarls at him and my eyes drift back to the screen. "They didn't pay me to do anything. I want my brother's body." She says offering him the excuse that we'd all come up with.

It makes sense for her to go back to Marc in order to find out where he dumped Hugh's body. After all, Marc was the only one who knew where it was.

"You think I'm just going to give it back to you after all you've done to me. You messed up everything. You fucking bitch!" Marc yelled down into Nisa's face before he shoved her hard to the floor.

My muscles tense up again but I relax slightly when I see her turn and look back at him. "I messed it up? Are you kidding me? None of what you have been doing was part of any plan that I was included in. You put my mother in the hospital for Christ's sake. I know you want to take over the Chrome Creed territories but how the hell do you do that if you're just killing random innocent people? There were civilians at that party where the bomb went off. How the hell are you going to explain that." Nisa questions.

"Come on, Nisa, you actually think I'm going to need to explain anything? Hell the minute it went off I was in the clear, Sheriff Bobbins was the first leading officer on the scene. If the plan had fucking worked the way it was supposed to one of those bastards would have already taken the fall for any casualties." Marc flips his hand in the sky and my mouth drops again.

Sheriff Bobbins had been on my ass since he got his title. I always thought he was one of those lawmen who did everything by the book. If he's working for Marc there's no fucking book with him. He's just a conniving cheat like the rest of them.

"That's an added issue," Spike says.

He's not lying if Sheriff Bobbins is on his payroll, there's no telling what he might do to get one of us behind bars. I've been to the clink before and so have most of the boys in the club but it's never easy time no matter how long we stay inside.

"We'll deal with it when we have to," I grumble.

"I didn't know. I thought..." Nisa sighs and looks away. She's playing this part well. Almost too well. It's making me edgy.

"It doesn't matter what you thought Nisa, all that matters is you've learned from your mistakes." Marc walks over to her slowly kneeling, getting close to her face. "Have you learned your lesson?"

"I just want this all to end. Leave my mother alone. Let me have Hugh's body back. I don't want to do this anymore."

Marc puts a hand under her chin and lifts her head so she's looking at him. "I thought you found your match with Leonidas. What happened to your happily ever after."

"I was never happy with him. He treats me worse than you do. I was only there with them because I was scared of you." She tilts her head and I watch her reach up to him. I can't stop the snarl pushing my lips up. "Do I have to be scared of you now Marc? I'm back home. Can I stop being scared?"

"You think I want you back?" Marc asks with a sinister glare.

"I have more information, they're weak, floundering. If you promise to leave me and my family alone I'll tell you what I know."

"What the fuck?" Rumble barks.

I don't know what Nisa is doing but this wasn't part of the plan either. She's going off on a tangent.

"There she goes, that's what I want to hear. How about this? You get me some solid information, find me something I can really work with and we can talk about you not being scared anymore. We'll call this a truce. What do you say?" Marc puts hishand down, reaching for her face and all I want to do is barge in there and knock that condescending look off his face.

Marc helps her off the ground and I watch through the video feed as he pulls her close to his face once again.

"You know one of the main reasons I was so upset that you were over there with Leo is because I don't think I've ever gotten a chance to let you know just how good I think the two of us could be together. I didn't make my move before because I didn't want you to think that's all I wanted from you but now that I know that's what you're looking for I'm ready to take the next steps if you are." Marc tilts Nisa's head and I press my hands against the thin metal table behind me.

"Don't you fucking do it. Don't do it." I mumble, my blood already boiling with fury at what it looks like is about to happen.

I notice Rumble hasn't flipped the switch to allow me to talk to Nisa.

"Pres, she's got to do this. He needs to think she's completely on his side." Spike says and I stuff down a deep growl. I know he's right. I've got to let this go. But every second that passes the more pissed I get.

"Yes, that's what I want," Nisa whispers back and in the next second Marc dips his face to hers and then they're making out like teenagers in the back of a fucking car.

I've never been a jealous man in my life. Never cared enough for a woman to give a damn if they were interested in someone else but the minute I hear Marc groan and watch him clutch Nisa to his body it feels like every last bone in my body is vibrating with anger.
