Did he really expect her to answer?
“She enjoyed it,” Salem said. “I made sure of that.”
“After you actually let me come!” She sniffed. “I didn’t think you were ever going to give me.”
There was silence.
Oh shit.
Why did she go and say that?
“You made her wait until she had your permission?” Roman asked.
“Yes,” Salem replied calmly. “Because she was naughty and that was her punishment.”
“Interesting,” Roman said.
What? How was that interesting? And why was he tapping on his phone?
“What are you doing?” she asked.
“I’m keeping a diary about observations.”
“Observations about what?” she asked.
“You,” Roman said absentmindedly. “What you like and dislike. Punishments that work. Things that make you happy or uncomfortable. Any illnesses. Your cycle. When did you last menstruate?”
She let out a strangled groan. This was not happening.
“I already asked her that,” Salem said. “She isn’t sure when she last had a period.”
“Huh. I thought all women kept track of that sort of information,” Roman said.
“Well, clearly not,” she grumbled.
“Let me know when you next have a period and I’ll keep track for you.”
She put her hands over her hot cheeks. How did this conversation come about?
Salem leaned forward and kissed along her neck. “Don’t worry about jealousy. Like we said earlier. There will be times we’re all together or just one-on-one. You don’t have to worry about the other people feeling jealous because that’s on us. Not you. Jealousy is normal. But we don’t want those emotions affecting you. We all want this to work. We all want a relationship with you so it’s up to each of us to manage our emotions.”
Everything he said sounded so good. But she still wasn’t sure that it would be that simple.
You just have to make sure you spend time with each of them alone.
Her gaze rose to Alexei who was being surprisingly quiet. That wasn’t normal for him. Was he upset?
“Get some rest, baby,” Alexei told her with a wink. “You’re gonna need it.”
All right. Maybe he wasn’t upset.
Maybe he was just plotting the ways he was going to make her come.
Yikes.
“Also, I like seeing you in my sweatshirt; although I know you’ll look even better in nothing at all.”
She was out of her depth.
