“It wouldn’t have been the same without her,” Alina said with a sniffle.
All of her men gave her horrified looks, reassuring her gently.
“There’s nothing wrong is there?” Pippa asked as she walked up to them.
Roman felt Tamsyn tense. “Are you all right?”
“Oh my God, we’re close to a real-life princess,” she whispered back to him. “She’s so . . . so princessy.”
They’d met all of Pippa’s husbands a couple of days ago, but she had been noticeably absent. They’d all told them just to use their names rather than titles.
Pippa turned to them with a smile. “I’m so glad you could all make it. I’m sorry I haven’t seen you before now.”
One of her husbands walked up behind her, placing his hand on a small belly bump.
“You’ve been busy growing our baby,Tamiya,” Kassim told her. “Never apologize for that.”
“I guess the cat is out of the bag,” Pippa said as they started to congratulate her.
“Little one, what are you doing walking around?” Tavi asked as Pippa’s other husbands joined her.
Matek didn’t say anything, he simply picked her up in his arms and carried her away as Aric fussed over her.
When Pippa and her husbands left, Ryiad turned to them all. “So, have you all considered moving to Escana? Now that you’re all in a relationship together?”
Move?
He’d never thought about moving.
Before any of them could say anything, they were interrupted.
“Wolfe! I’m fine! The doctor said it’s fine for me to be out and about. He told you that I need to walk. He said that you carrying me everywhere isn’t healthy for me or the baby.”
A woman with dark eyes and a kind smile approached them.
“Hello! We haven’t met! I’m Vivi.” She was very clearly pregnant. Was she close to giving birth? He gave her an alarmed look.
What would Tamsyn look like pregnant?
The man standing behind her glared at them all, sizing them up as though he thought that they might do something to hurt her.
“And this glowering guy is Wolfe,” Vivi said. “Just ignore him. He’s in full-on protective Daddy mode. The Daddy part is because he is my Daddy but he’s also going to be one.” She rubbed her belly. “Sometimes it’s confusing.”
“No, it’s not,” Wolfe grumbled. “And you’ve been on your feet enough. We’re going to go sit in the shade and you will drink some water.”
Vivi protested as he picked her up, but he ignored her.
“Wolfe!” someone yelled. “Put her down. She’s allowed to walk.”
“No!” Wolfe snapped as two men chased after him.
Alexei snorted. “She’s got her hands full with that guy.”
“Yeah, she does,” Alina said. “So, what do you say about moving here? Please.” She gave Salem big puppy dog eyes.
“Don’t give me that look,” Salem told her, looking pained. “I don’t think we can move. At least, not at the moment.”
“But maybe in the future,” Alexei added.
