Parker: How’s it going with her?

Zee: Fine. She’s nice :) Mostly, she hangs out with Ida and Callan though. You can tell she’s making up for lost time

Parker: Ohh. Tee told me that your father-in-law got the kids in the divorce but’s like the worst dad alive?

Zee: He sucks

Zee: Sorry if I’ve been quiet. It’s been crazy around here. This woman died in a hit-and-run and Colt got brought in for questioning.

Parker: This small town of yours isn’t as boring as I thought it would be.

Parker: Arson and vehicular manslaughter… it’s all go.

Zee: It’s no NYC, but it’s interesting.

Zee: The vehicle used in the accident was abandoned on our ranch.

Parker: YOUR ranch, huh?

Zee: Shut up. I could have been talking about the Bar 9.

Parker: You weren’t though, were you?

Zee: ANYWAY

Zee: The only reason Colt wasn’t arrested was because we were having lunch together at the time.

Parker: He doesn’t seem the type.

Zee: To hit someone and run?

Zee: Of course not. He’s innocent.

Zee: Callan’s had a bit of a meltdown too

Parker: What kind of meltdown? Is he okay?

Zee: He built a security system for the ranch but there was no footage of the truck being dumped. We tried to tell him that it’s impossible to secure four hundred thousand acres, but Callan didn’t take that well.

Zee: He’s barely been sleeping or eating as he brainstorms a solution.

Parker: Shit. It’s always the innocent who suffer the most in these cases.

Zee: Ugh, so true. There’s no solution either. You can’t install cameras in the middle of nowhere. There’s no point. Wind could knock them over or cattle would ram into the posts. He’s just going to have to learn to deal with the holes in his security. :/

Zee: As it stands, he’s come up with an army of drones that monitor the land, lol.

Parker: Hello, dictatorship.

Zee: *cackles*

Zee: My blood sugar’s been all over the place too. I don’t know what Tee did when she set my alerts as a crying baby but I can’t change it. It’s annoying as hell.

Parker: Precisely why she did it. Are you okay?

Zee: Just stressed.

Parker: Unlike you. You didn’t even get stressed when Nyx was arrested on a murder charge!
