His phone beeped in his pocket, and he smiled, excited to see her expression. "Look up."

Her eyes narrowed at him as her brow furrowed in confusion. "What?"

"I said," he pressed a quick kiss on the line between her brows, "look up."

Tatum leaned back slightly and investigated the sky over their heads.

A moment later the sky lit up with a brilliant flash of light that broke into hundreds of

 swirling sparkles.

"Fireworks?" Her voice was filled with wonder. "I didn’t see this on the schedule."

Alexander smiled and knew she couldn’t see it. It was her expression that mattered to him. Her

eyes and those amazing lips. "It wasn’t on the schedule because they’re for you."

Another rocket burst, sending green trailers through the sky. And then blue.

 "They’re for… for me?"

"Yes." He covered her hands with his and gave them a gentle squeeze. "For you, Tatum. This, and

 so much more."

She turned around in his arms and laid her head back against his shoulder so that they could

 enjoy the fireworks, together.

 CHAPTER 12

 MIRACLE MATCHES VIDEO FOLLOW UP

Martina sat down to watch the videos from Alexander and Tatum, believing, with her usual optimism that she’d nailed it on the head with these two.

 CLIENT: ALEXANDER WEN

Post Cruise Follow Up – Video Message

Martina, I was going to record this message tomorrow, but I just had a video call with Tatum.

She’s dancing tonight at a special exhibition with one of the local professionals in Chicago. After that, I’m sending my jet for her and she’s coming here to New York.

I know I’ve said it a few times already, but ‘Thank you.’

When I first signed up withMiracle Matches,I honestly thought I was losing my mind.

And here I am, sitting here, realizing that I’m so glad I did.

I’ve actually seen Blair since I came home and she’s doing great. Busy with the business. So

busy that she was a half an hour late for lunch and even then, she was on the phone for most of the meal. Don’t worry, I boxed up her lunch and sent it with her, but I doubt she’ll eat it.

I know I said this before, but if you’re available to come up to New York in a week, let me know. I’ll send you tickets, first class of course. My parents are coming back to New York after their own cruise around the Mediterranean. I think they’ll love the surprise I’m planning for them. Just as much as I hope Tatum will like it as well.

If she doesn’t. I’m going to look like quite the fool.

But, whatever happens, I’m still the luckiest man I know.
