Crap!

I hurriedly take care of business and then dig my makeup remover out of my bag. He’s seen me without makeup before so that has to be better than the racoon-face I’m currently sporting.I brush my teeth while I’m at it and drag a comb through my tangled hair, wincing at the remnants of hair spray that are making it stick in some places.

Satisfied that I’m at least presentable now, I make my way back to where Sam is propped up on a few pillows, doing something on his phone. When I come into the room his gaze lands on my body and there’s nothing but pure admiration there.

“Damn, baby, I think I’m hard again.”

“I’m all about the sex,” I say, “but you’re going to have to feed me before I’m ready for more.”

“That’s fair. I’m pretty hungry too. Want to go out to breakfast?”

“Sure.” I dig a pair of shorts and a T-shirt out of my overnight bag and start getting dressed, watching as Sam walks across the room naked.

I was too busy feeling to do much looking last night, and he’s almost as gorgeous naked as he is in a tux. I think I prefer him in the tux but naked is good too.

While he’s in the bathroom, I take a minute to text Sydney and let her know our plans. She knew I wouldn’t be home last night, but I’m used to checking in.

“Hey, so let’s get a cab back to my regular hotel, and I can use one of the two rental cars. I already cleared it with the guys.” Since he’s in town recording the new album, the record label rented them two cars to share.

“Okay. Sounds like a plan.”

“I also need to return my tux at some point today and stop by the studio to see what’s going on, though I told them I’m not working. They know I’m spending the day with you.”

“We can do whatever,” I say, giving him a grateful smile. “If you need to work for a few hours, I can?—”

“No.” He interrupts, coming over to me and wrapping an arm around my waist. “This isourtime. We won’t get our firsttime together back again, so we’re going to enjoy it. I can work tomorrow while you’re at school.”

“Sydney wants to know if you want to have dinner with us,” I ask as another text comes in.

“Like I keep saying, I want what you want.”

I lift onto my toes and press my lips to his. “I just want us to be together.”

“Then that’s what we’ll be.”

I reply to Sydney’s text and then turn to him.

“We have forty minutes until we have to check out,” I tease.

His eyebrows lift ever so slightly. “Don’t play with me, Kirsten. You’ll be naked up on the bathroom counter before you finish your sentence.”

“Is that a threat or a promise?” I ask playfully.

“Bathroom,” he growls.

Why do I love when he gets all bossy and growly?

It’s really hot.

“Now!” He swats me on the ass, and I laugh, hurrying into the bathroom.

This is going to be fun.
