My kiss is demanding and frantic, and I tilt her head. A guttural moan vibrates from my chest as she melts against me.

She looks up at me, surprised. Grinning down at her, I say nothing.

It’s all going according to plan.

Maddie unlocks her car, sliding behind the steering wheel. She looks up at me, baffled.

“I’ll be right behind you. But lock the doors.” I wink at her. She nods and I pat the roof, then close her door.

I whistle as I head back to my truck, breathing in the cool October air, and appreciating the darkness.

Following behind her, my heart pounds inside my chest.Fuck, kissing her is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced before. Tingles coursed through my body as she consumed all of me, lighting my body on fire.

I’m in such a daze from thinking about that kiss, I don’t remember the drive to her friend’s apartment. When Maddie jumps out of her car, crosses her arms, and stands there, staring at me, my senses return and I frown.

Pulling up beside her, I raise my eyebrows as she pushes off her car. “I’m getting in.”

Then she proceeded to walk around the front of my truck, open the passenger door, and climb inside.

“You can’t just leave me wanting like that, Jagger.” A scowl is on her delectable lips.
