Kye rushes past to help Colt, grim determination lining his dark face. Uno lashes out, catching Colt in the jaw, before the two men wrestle him to the ground, thrashing and hissing and trying to bite.

“Rosie, he’s not going to settle.” Colt looks up at me, asking me a silent question. “He’s not like Zane.”

What do we do with the man who saved our lives but lost his mind?

I lick my tongue around my dry mouth, panting with the force of my heat flooding my belly.

Liam shouts at someone to stay back, and I look from Uno to Luka who desperately needs medical attention. I know he’s my alpha and he needs this pack as much as I do. We all belong together.

“Can you bond him, Colt?” I ask huskily.

His eyes widen. “Uno?” My first lover glances down, tightening his grip on the struggling man beneath him. “He might not accept it.”

I scoot across the water and blood-spattered floor on my ass. Uno sneezes as my thick scent settles on him. “We need to try.” It’s up to me to make the decision he can’t make for himself.

“Easy,” Colt growls, cautioning us all as I come in range.

Carefully I insert my legs under Uno’s cheek, his ragged gasps for breath mirroring my own. With his head nestled mostly on my lap, I stroke his hair. “You can’t be attacking pack members, Uno. They’re our friends. Our mates.” My tired gaze sweeps across each of the men here. Uno’s arms and shoulders still thrash against Kye and Colt. We need to calm him down before he hurts himself. “Luka, can we get a bunch of your scent?”

“Sure, sweetheart. Anything you want.” He smiles so sweetly at me my heart flip flops.

I whimper softly as Luka’s dark plum scent caresses us, making my eyes slide shut, no matter how many times I force them open. My heat urges are unbearable now and I whine. Uno’s breaths grow steadier, and he stops struggling.

“Colt,” I call sleepily.

Colt shakes his head twice also fighting Luka’s heady musk, then leans in and sinks his teeth into Uno’s throat.

“Please, Uno,” I murmur, holding his head and stroking the inch-long bleached hair. “We need you.”

Uno’s legs kick out and my breath catches. Colt growls in warning and blood spills out the sides of his lips. For a moment we hang on a knife’s edge, and then Uno goes limp. Hot tears spill down my cheeks. “What happened?” I cry. Did I make the wrong choice?

“It’s okay, Rose,” Agent Liam says from the doorway. “He’s submitted to Colt.”

I drop my head onto Uno’s, sobbing with relief and pain as my belly cramps. Colt dominates our last feral alpha with his teeth sunk in his skin for several long minutes.

“Please,” I whimper when I can’t bear it any longer. Colt releases his bite, then licks up the blood around the site. His eyes are unfocused as he pulls away.

“Kye, hop out and lock us in here with Zane so the medics can come in,” he says roughly, clearing his throat as it seizes. Uno’s hands slide up my thighs to hook around my waist and I tug him closer.

“We’ll be okay, love,” Colt murmurs as he braces on his knees, then lurches to his feet before lifting me off the floor and onto the narrow bed.

“Come on, Uno,” he calls, holding out his hand. “Your omega needs you.”

“Fuck!” Luka complains. “Why does everyone in the house but me get to knot our omega in her heat?”

I chuckle, pulling Uno to my chest. “Maybe we’re saving the best until last, Luka.”

Uno drops his head into my neck again, rubbing a little of his scent against my jaw, claiming me. I widen my legs and his questing cock finds the way in, brushing through my slick pussy lips. His chest vibrates with a rumble that runs straight to my core.

He feels so good, so right. Mine.

Distantly I hear Luka arguing with the paramedics, telling them to pull the bullet out and stitch him up there on the floor. He argues right up until the moment Colt tells him to shut up and stop talking. “She’ll still be in heat when you get back.”

“Can I come back, Sir? I can’t even describe how sorry I am.”

A fresh sob catches in my throat and Colt comes over to rest his hand on my forehead. “Yes, Luka. Rose needs you.” His voice locks up with emotion we can all hear. “And so do I.”

“Me three,” Kye adds. “None of us can cook for shit.
