The look on his face tugs at my heartstrings and I cross the room to connect with him, kneeling on the couch to wrap my arms carefully around his waist. I used to think a pack was perfect, but then I got sold to a kennel and found out life is nothing like we expect. Kye knows the same pain of broken expectations.

“And yours is the sweetest soul,” he says, hugging me into his side. After a minute he moves his cello and asks, “Would you like to try playing?”

I lift my brows in question. “Her Highness won’t mind?”

He laughs. “Not at all.” He leans down and kisses my ear. “Plus, a queen outranks a princess.”

I turn my head to meet his lips, and that’s all it takes for the music lesson to get put on hold as Kye plays a song on my body instead of the strings.

We’re freshly out of the shower but still giggling when the front door opens with its unique scraping sound, and Colt and Luka pile into the house. I run for them, feeling even the smallest separation keenly. While I was with Kye, I forgot I was mad at them for leaving in secret, but it rushes back as I see the smirks on their faces.

Luka especially has that pleased look on his face he gets after his tongue’s been inside my pussy. Maybe I really will tell them what I think about alphas who disappear off to gentlemen’s clubs.

Then I spy red marks on his shoulder and freeze. Black tattoo ink traces a distinct shape on the ridge an inch above his collarbone, the surrounding skin red and inflamed.

“What’s that?” I gasp out.

Luka’s mouth curves up in an infuriating smile. “My new tattoo.”

I gulp. “Is that . . . is that my bite mark?”

Luka chuckles and tugs me into his chest. “Sure is, little omega. I wanted to keep it forever.”

My knees go weak, and I sag into his arms. “What? Why? And why didn’t you tell me? I thought you’d gone to a sex club!”

He growls in my ear. “Why would we go to something like that when we have you waiting for us at home? And why?” He nibbles on my ear, sending hot flushes running to my core. “Because I want you on my skin always.”

“You should have told me!” I berate as my tears start flowing.

“Why? So you could stop me getting your bite mark inked on my skin?” Luka grins and tightens his arms around me. “Never!”

I can’t help it, I shiver as my scent floods out everywhere, as floral as my name.

Colt chuckles as I go limp in his lover’s arms. “I think Rose secretly approves.”

Luka tattooed my teeth prints on his shoulder and Colt drove him to the studio to have it done. Both men are insane.

“I won’t bite you again,” I declare.

Luka pulls me closer, until my head is resting right over the reddened skin on his shoulder. “Also not happening, honey. You will have your teeth on me every day in whatever way you fancy, because I promise I’ll be doing the same to you.”

Delicious shivers run down my spine, and I whimper. It’s unfair the effect these men have on me.

Colt takes me from Luka’s arms, rumbling deep in his chest. “Luka wanted to keep it a secret until it was done, but I’m sorry you thought the worst. We have no interest in looking at anyone else. Only you.”

A whine slips through my parted lips. “But a tattoo? That’s too much, Colt!”

He chuckles. “It’s really not, Rose. You’re our omega, now and always. I think I’ll get one too, after our probationary year is over.” He presses his thumb into my neck, silently anticipating where his bite bond will go.

“I can’t even!” I shake my head, lost for words and he ducks his head to breathe deeply from my throat.

“Small house, big hearts, Rosie.” He presses his lips to mine, grinning through our kiss before pulling away. “Is that paint on your hands?”

I nod, inspecting my speckled fingertips for the spots I missed in the shower. “Want to come and see?”

Luka follows, grinning when he catches me sneaking glances at the new black marks on his shoulder. That’s how much this pack wants me—enough to brand me on their bodies. I hide a grin by chewing on my lip. I guess it’s pretty special.

Even if it’s crazy.
